I already ordered one from AS@os. it is coming at 7am tomorrow. I could have had it tonight but DS wants to go to bed early. He will probably have to carry it in.

We also don't have any transport. I can't carry something like that home on the bus. I have never seen that shop so it could be a long way away. It will most likely be two bus rides away.

ivyleaf Then I don't think it will affect me as there are wards above the CT department and I am now back to the treatment centre so there are treatments above not offices. I don't have to go upstairs as I have my treatment orally at home.

My desk chair broke last night, a leg fell off it wont fix. I tried I*EA last night but they were off line. I am not very comfortable in an ordinary chair. I will have a good look round.

Aldi have black and white office chairs on Specialbuy from Sunday, if you are able to wait. Office Specialbuys
I was tempted myself but I don't need, only want. My office chair is an ex MOD grey plastic stacking chair that could be anything up to fifty years old. It will probably outlive me.

So glad you've arranged for a new one nursemaggie. I forgot you'd have had to bring it home on the bus :o I think the Rymans site said the Bolton shop is in Newport Road or Newport Street.

Anyway, here's to more comfortable pc use.

Yes I know where it is. It's a very tiny shop doubt if they have room for office furniture. It just has stationery in the window.

DS says he has been in there and it sells nothing but stationery. He has never seen so many different types of paper.

This new chair is better than the old one. I have never been able to move the other one properly.

Somehow I missed seeing your post that you had a chair NM - apologies!

Not such good news I'm afraid.
She's suffered a tendon injury, no more racing, but will go to be a broodmare. This is the second time this has happened with one of our horses. The breeder is having a rethink at the moment on future racers.
    Stuff happens.
If the tendon had gone in a race, the injury could have ended her life, not just her career,

Aw, the poor girl :( Hopefully she will have some winning foals though :) And as you say, much worse if it had happened in a race.

Really just dropped in to see if there were any other insomniacs or friends from other time zones around.
    Apparently not.

The house is looking unnaturally tidy atm. The photographer came yesterday to take photos for the brochure. We are trying 'P*rpl* Br*cks'. Only because I visited a friend last week and noticed that the house opposite hers had a 'SOLD' notice up. When I mentioned to my friend that I hadn't realised that it was up for sale she said that it had only gone up for sale the day before and the sellers were completely knocked back to have sold on the first day.
Not expecting my house to go that quickly but the service has been very good so far and the financial savings should be considerable.

Anyway, pushing things into drawers and cupboards for photos is one thing, keeping the house tidy enough for prospective buyers to look round is something else!

And that is all the hot news from the IOW at 3.43 am on a Sunday morning.

No hot news from up here Monna - bit fedup of the constant cold and dull - and the forecast isn't looking great either. Nothing growing in the garden yet but daffs.
