  • It is bitterly cold here in the Midlands as well.

I wouldn't have gone out but I had an appointment to have my eyes checked (or so I thought) the appointment is for tomorrow:(. I was positive it was today

Needless to say Himself had to mention it to DGD when she came home for lunch.

    Stay warm everyone

Yes I'm hibernating. Vicious horrible north wind and snow showers on and off all day.

Sleety showers here at the moment. I've done two dog walks today and frozen on both, the heating is now on. I have to go out again today but it will be in my new to me car.

Clear blue skies, bright sunshine and perishing here. DS2 popped in just now and said that it was warming up. Can't say I'd noticed.

We've had an estate agent round again as we are about to take the plunge. I've spent the last few days going through every room clearing, tidying, (well, hiding things in drawers and cupboards) and cleaning. I did read that when you sell a house you are selling a lifestyle. I looked at the garden devoid of flowers, full of half-eaten trees, holes dug halfway to Australia, the remains of a winter boot, chewed toys, plastic slides, swing, trampoline, sand tray, a sort of wendy-house, patches of grass that was once a lawn...........and pitied the poor souls who would have to aspire to our lifestyle.

Anyway, the first estate agent came this morning and the second arrives at 6.00pm. The thought of trying to keep the house ready for would-be buyers fills me with horror. DS2 is my only hope. Bless him, he tidies dusts, vacuums and washes floors enthusiastically. Unfortunately he thinks that once he has done it, it will magically stay like that. Some hope!

  • Same here Monnagran. Bright skies, white fluffy clouds and a fierce freezing wind. Like others I changed my plans about going into town and just stayed where it's a bit warmer.

I have to go and get some cash from the cashpoint for my evening out and the wind sounds vicious... Oh well. At least I won't be tempted to cycle further to the shops and spend unnecessarily. I have good warm clothing, it could be worse!

We've had all weathers here in S.E.Wales and at one point the sun was out but it was snowing, raining then hailstones. It looked lovely from the windows but I know that the wind was bitter.
