    :)

    I'll start.

I am back off me olidis. We escaped from Colditz Castle on Thursday morning - i really wanted to crouch under the windows and slither on my front across the grass, but OH said they'd probably seen it all before....:rotfl: (to clarify - Colditz is a youth hostel now - in part anyway..). So we just walked out and then caught a bus...

Celebrated being home by going out last night on our annual 'lads' birthday meal - OH and two of his friends have birthdays only days apart. We drank too much...:o

DS also went out, and at 4 o'clock this morning OH found him lying on the kitchen floor in a pool of vomit  He doesn't remember it........

I am spending the day clutching my head and trying to do some work. I may clean the kitchen floor again.....:p
I wanna be in the room where it happens

Sounds like you've been having a fun time VJsmum.

Me, mostly resting my back although my strawberry plants arrived so I've planted them. And I've painted my nails.

Oh VJ'smum - I have great sympathy for you - done that but thankfully both DS are older and somewhat wiser now although they still have their moments. My mantra was always - you throw up - you clean up!
Its DH's birthday today so I'm treating him to a slap up evening at the club - St Georges Night Folk Band and fish supper for a fiver - I really know how to push the boat out ;)
Had a call from a friend in Italy to wish him Happy Birthday - so nice as we'd not spoken to him for quite a while - DH was quite touched by it.
New garden furniture arrived yesterday - just the plastic rattan stuff but SO much lighter and easier to move than my old steel lot. Puss has given it her seal of approval as she's curled up in one of the armchairs.
Sunny here but still a cold wind
Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle
