  • Irrelevant, how about that for a name?
I'm watching Death comes to Pemberley and someone has just said, 'I met a lady yesterday, her name is irrelevant!'

Aaaarrghhhh OH is painting the kitchen

I am learning new swear words :p The tamest of which is "d!ckwad" :rotfl: I am hiding away with the marking. Three more to do before my self imposed deadline of 6.00 when i shall ring my dad and open the wine  No dry january for me, I'm afraid. As soon as there's a "can't" there's a "want"

The result of the kitchen being out of action is that we will have to have left over curries for tea - such a shame :p - I've pulled about 5 bits of this and bits of that out of the freezer which also frees up freezer space :T

    Right, pick up that pen....
I wanna be in the room where it happens

Hester sending much love from here.

That pie with marzipan sounds fab, I am sure I have some out of date marzipan in the pantry.

Quiet day here and hubs is in bed again so keeping busy trying to crochet. Had a very scary day with my arm yesterday with intense pain when I was getting dressed. Hubs heard me scream and found me crying with my head on the work surface - must be bad to make me cry. Then had it a few times more when I was doing nothing. Did get a bit more sleep last night though even with Dgs glued to me :p

Dgs is desperate to go back to school on Tuesday and its causing tummy problems for him but with a bit of cajoling he is actually consenting to 'go' He just misses his new school so much. They seem to be teach him some songs which I have never heard before and sound rather long but he knows all the words.

  • Evening all,
Hope you don't mind another little one jumping on the fence for a chat.

Hester - my thoughts are with you and your family at this terribly sad time.

    Hi honeybee

Managed a whole day off today :j
Made 3 banana loafs , to use up old bananas , pulled some random tub from freezer for tomorrow, god knows what it is lol ... so tea tomorrow may be fun . No room in there still , as dh brought home half a lamb , hence chops for tea .

Busy week, work and meetings Mon and Tues nights, then hospital Thursday night to get results , Friday night are always mayhem ..

    Curry sounds good .

  • Welcome Honeybee & thank you.
More changes afoot at work, I have a meeting with my line manager to hear what diktats are to be passed down from on high.
I wouldn't mind if there was some sort of cohesive plan, but it's all headless chicken behaviour.
