Mar, who said anything about sitting up?
Me and my tablet are cosily tucked up in bed.

monnagran Churchmouse does the lunch club at her church. When it started there were quite a few volunteers, but they sort of drifted away quite quickly and now there are just two, doing it every month rather than every few months....sound familiar?0

I'm always looking for ways to cook cauli and broccoli so that I don't have to taste the bloody stuff. Not mad on cheese, but it's got to be better than broccoli... _pale_
Personally I just wouldn't bother! I can't stand sweet potatoes, fennel or okra so I don't bother.Must use my stash up!0 -
Glad there's someone else that doesn't like sweet potato, thought it was just me.0

Nope - it is horrible stuff! Give me swede any day :rotfl:Must use my stash up!0 -
I like turnip and mushrooms and fried tomatoes. Can tolerate cabbage & cauli in small amounts, broccoli is disgusting but I eat it to be healthy (oh pukepuke), and the other nameless green stuff is sewage but I bung it into soup. Once I grew turnip greens and actually they were nice - although I fried them in half a pound of butter lol so maybe not that healthy0

I don't like turnips, I don't think I have ever tasted fennel, but vinegar is almost as bad as Turkish Delight which I hate with the same vengeance as [/B]mar[/B] hates the vegetable beginning with K.
Hester everything is a chemical even chocolate and your L&M are made of chemicals.

I wouldn't eat anything I don't like, even if it is good for me.
I hate sweet pots too and fennel, okra, turnips, swede, parsnips and strawberries! Luckily I love all green veg though, my faves are broccoli, spinach and peas
Forgive me for asking but what is/are L&M?'I'm sinking in the quicksand of my thought
