I've got four days trying to resist the temptation of doing this, and it's not even my house/kitchen.

But isn't that the best reason? ;):D

Running rather behind with this Christmas lark. Unless you count eating more chocolate as being festive in which case, I'm running ahead.

No cards for anyone here, not all gifts purchased let alone wrapped, no festive food made or bought.... hopefully I can fix some of that today. Also I can eat tbose pesky ferreros....

Softstuff chase them down, otherwise they hide in cupboards until next July...

I've bagged up 6 lots of 3 different flavours of biscotti today, including a gluten free version for my SiL. I've also bagged & labelled 2 flavours of pot-pourri. All I can hope is that the recipients read the labels...

I actually meant in someone else's oven, rather than one's own, but yes, I appreciate the risk ;)

  • With only two of us it's not worth baking I may make some cookies.

    softstuff ferreros YUK!!!!
  • Monna I've always served Yorkshire pudding and stuffing balls with every roast dinner, it meant no one noticed if there wasn't much meat.

Don't worry Nursemaggie, they're not around to trouble you anymore :D Floss, I'm an experienced huntress, from a long line of hunters. You could trust my dad with £1000 quid on the table, but a bar of chocolate could not be left unattended.

Floss, you've given me an idea, not for baking though, I might pop in and see my local cafe owner and buy some of his homemade biscotti for a pressie.

As long as there's gravy, then the yorkies, stuffing and roasties are the best bits.

Yorkies, roasties, gravy & horseradish sauce - nom nom! My grandma would serve her Yorkies with gravy as a first course, then the potatoes, veg, more gravy & meat, to make the meat go further.

Not sure what we're having for Christmas dinner as we will be in the hands of SiL (who's G/F), but it will be tasty and I won't be cooking or washing up :D But we have to drive 250+ miles to get there.
