  • Mrs LW, don't go blaming me for it all, and as for your description of your lire, I can see little piggy's flying past the window.

Fuddle, Shropshire, I have better things to do in bed than use my tablet, mainly doing my L&M!

Monna, enjoy your toy cull, Knit Witch, I'm assuming that's where she got Wol from.

SS I hope the tiler works out well, if I tried to rest my tablet in my belly fat it would disappear completely.
    Chin up, Titus out.
  • Morning all,

:rotfl: I don't have a tablet but I'll keep these dangers in mind if we consider getting one. Particularly yours Shropshire Lass...I can picture myself doing that.

Mrs LW I do enjoy all things home, although the wings are more to do with my work life which doesn't feature on here. Thank you for your kind words.

Monna I have my notepad ready.

Softstuff good luck! I'm sure there will be some bumps in the road but you'll manage them! Hopefully there won't be any bumps in the tile!

Floss How are you/how is the job situation? I can't imagine much has changed yet, but I'm thinking of you.

Well, I finished the first part of BIG work task yesterday and I'll be starting the second part today. I'm out for a bit this evening so OH is making tuna steaks with broccoli and noodles for tea. Leftover spag bol for my lunch today and a portion in the freezer. I had a lovely walk yesterday--the Himalayan Balsam is still blooming and smells very heady for this time of year. I know it is invasive but I do like it.

I also have to work a gym visit in today, so it is likely to be a busy one.x

There was me last night thinking I'd de lurk on this thread only to find out I'd missed a party , so I went to bed in a huff :(:p:rotfl::rotfl:

Man, I remember a party we had on here a few years ago, I think I woke with genuine hangover symptoms the next day :rotfl:

Hello all, mind if I join? It looks like fun..
I wanna be in the room where it happens

It's like you've never been away. :D welcome back VJs
  • We can have another one, just say the word but I'm not sure that the German Shepherd has fully recovered from the experience yet, poor thing now won't come out of the police van when he's out working without peering anxiously round both sides of the van in case there are any ladies of a certain age about doing the conga!!! We could have another one.......

OK Hester, I admit only to being not difficult to lead astray, if you've got flying piggies for heavens sake harvest some of them and we'll be able to make sausage rolls for the next party!!! YAYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!

VJsmum Great to see you on here :T

Floss That was probably a wise move! Hopefully a stable job is just around the corner :) (Sorry, that sounds as if I'm suggesting a job mucking out :D)

I rather like Lyn's idea of turning flying pigs into sausage rolls...

Feeling quite glad i don't have a tablet.....

Floss, come on in, the water's fine ;) I'm sorry to hear it's come to that, I hope you have some whisky.

After my day of spontaneous acceptance of quotes, I had a few drinks and ended up getting takeaway. Apologies to anyone eagerly anticipating a recipe for heart. I'm feeding it to my magpies :rotfl:

Hester, I want you as my role model. As Rome burns I want to be otherwise occupied in the bedroom with stockings and a good time.
