Weather forecast for Easter for Scotland is absolutely baltic. And heavy snow for the ski centres. I need more sweeties.0

Be warned though it was horrendously expensive and is only up on the two chimney breast recesses in DDs lounge, 1 roll cost nearly £70 but it's one of those once in a lifetime aquisitions that is so 'right' for her room which is all Gustavian scandi greys and wood. It came in lots of different colourways including a reverse of this one.
Thanks MrsLW. I'd need only 1 roll for 1 wall and it'd be the only decoration in the room, so I think (when it happens) I'd be prepared to spend a bit more. The reason it attracted me is the view from the back of our house, which is a forest with tall paperbarks and eucalypts. I thought it'd echo that very nicely, the real forest in colour and that as an outline.
Thanks Bigjenny, I'll have a browse of the site.
I tried a recipe today a friend had cooked for me previously, thought I'd share it:

Very easy, very tasty. It reheats very well, I served it initially with plain chicken but have also popped leftovers in a frying pan with a couple of eggs. I didn't use pistachios for mine, since they're currently ridiculously priced, so popped in some pumpkin and sunflower seeds instead. Flaked almonds would be good in it too.Softstuff- Officially better than 0070 -
Mrs L - Your Wildthing sounds just like my Pushkin with an 'undercoat' & bushy tail - she's also got big tufts of fur under her pads. She does like a cuddle but not really a lap cat as she too overheats. Quite happy in the rain & loves the snow. I do have her pedigree (She's a 'blue' Siberian) & I think she probably has very similar characteristics to the Maine CoonsSmall victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0

GQ's parents have 'Wildthing' Silvasava, not me, unfortunately as he sounds like my kind of cat!!!0

Wild Thing is a gurl! And she has those adorable little tufts of fur between her pads as well. Found a pic of a Maine Coon with the same colouring and markings on t'interweb once but I've lost it. It was the spit of WT, down to the angle of the head and her perma-smile.
She's a bit dim but very pretty and very lovable.Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

OOops! SORRY WILDTHING!!!!!
SILVASAVA your Pushkin is stunningly beautiful, I'll get DD to look, she'll love her to bitses!!!0 -
Yup - mine too can be a bit 'blonde' lol
She's a 'rescue' & had never lived as a 'house cat' she'd been with breeders but had never been shown or bred so I think maybe she's not 'up to scratch' in the pedigree stakes - my gain as she's a little Prima Donna & very partial to the Isle of Wight - good little traveller & quite at home in the caravanSmall victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0 -
silvasava, your cat looks stunning, love the purple tag!
I have managed to get loads of little jobs done today - waxed and put together the little free table and it looks great as a bedside table. Also touched up a mark that appeared on the newly painted wall, sorted all my clothes and there's a charity bag bulging at the seams. Everything is now in my own wardrobe, apart from coats and jackets - DD has loads of space in her fitted wardrobes so she can keep them.0 -
This is a Maine Coon who could be Wild Thing (who is too small at only 11 lb to be a pure bred and whose antecedants are no better than 'comes from a nice part of town').
Anyway, take above pic and put cream where you see white fur and that's identical to WT. Even the vet thinks she's cutie-pie. But she's as dumb as a bucket of rocks............:rotfl:
