Softstuff the beauty of doing interior design is that you walk in, direct, walk out and leave others to live in the mess ;)

Am currently on the allotment looking at the weeds which have multiplied tenfold since Tuesday :( still, there are raspberries, blackberries, tomatoes, chillies and peppers to pick, and I need to check on the gay courgette...

MrsL - 1) Collect every courgette you have.
    2) Peel them/clean them/whatever the hell you do with them.
    3) throw them all in the bin and have a nice plate of sticky toffee pavlova and custard.

Mardatha! You are terrible. You deserve to have VERY BAD SPOTS.

Do you hate everything green per se or is it just vegetables that earn your wrath?

  • Softstuff - Well I've never had a workman swearing at me yet at least. Cheeky s*d:eek:

In your place - put him on the "not to be touched with a bargepole for work in future" list and promise yourself and hubbie a Nice Reward at the end of the work I think. Not quite sure just how big a Nice Reward to promise yourself - whether of the luxury meal out/weekend away or holiday variety. At the rate he's going - I'd be inclined to be wondering about a "holiday" size Nice Reward.

Elona. I bet she leaves the green jelly babies till last and bites their heads off in a particularly venomous and vicious manner.

    Happy Birthday for tomorrow.

Has anyone else had toads or frogs in their house?
Today I turned the dog bed in the lounge and there was a little creature underneath - nestling between the bed and the stone flags :eek::eek:. I think it was a toad rather than a frog. I tend to leave the door open so maybe it came in that way. Anyway I caught it underneath a container and deposited it outside...
