The red bull crew are staying at our hotel on saturday we will be homeless for the night as it has been all booked for Silverstone including all conference rooms.

House still being dried cats stressed there are no rooms available in Mk or nearby - Legal and general have asked where would we like to go for the night! Norfolk seaside/skeggy/brighton but having problems booking disabled access room!
So maybe we will pitch a blanket near concrete cows or on a round a bout :rotfl:

It might sound odd, but have you tried Premier Inns? A lot of their hotels have "universal accessible rooms" which I take to mean all of them. Might be worth a look?

    Hester,

Am now waiting with interest to see what verdict Monna might have on what to call you:).

The "short" part of that I would have to agree with - and it's got its problems being on the shorter side. Never mind - when trying to reach for goods on the higher supermarket shelves I've always got my eye out for tall young men to get them for me if need be:). They always oblige and smile pleasantly down at me..

On that note - I'll try not to think what uses you might find for tall young men...:)

I think I would call her "rubber ball". She ricochets from stressful situation to impossible situation and when she hits a hard place she always, always bounces back. In spite of this she is a lot of fun.

Of course, if they made PVC balls I would have re-evaluate.

I have any number of tall young men in my life. Sadly they all call me " grandma.

I have a 12 year old DGS who towers over me, at work 99% of the students tower over me, but I can stop them in their tracks if I raise my voice.

I'm not so keen on rubber, I still prefer PVC, or even leather and suede, I have a beautiful soft purple suede flogger, but it's a long time since I've had chance to use it!

And there is the song Rubber Ball by Bobby Vee, I like that song.

You would be amazed at what we talk about.

During a fairly hair-raising discussion about what goes on at music festivals I happened to drop into the conversation that when I was a student we spent the night of the summer solstice at Stonehenge.
In the appalled silence that followed someone was heard to say, "Well, it would have been different in those days."

I hid my smirk. They truly think that they have invented sex. They also think that in the fifties we all sat around embroidering our anti macassars, possibly wearing our crinolines..

My Mum used to say " you think you've invented sex " to me! I never invited her to listen in :rotfl:
