Thank you we had a lovely time. softstuff and I stuffed ourselves with cakes while floss had a bacon sandwich. We had a good laugh lots of chatting, then softstuff and I went round the CS.

Got straight off the train onto the bus and was home by 6.40pm.

Mar according to my mother the Scottish one is much better value. Comes with a bigger smile too. That was probably 30 years ago but I doubt it has changed.

I had a late lunch - in those days I was seriously active, could eat whatever I fancied and not worry about gaining weight, 8-10 hours of physical training 5 days per week on top of a fairly physical job.

These days, its a different matter entirely - I wouldn't eat that much in a weeks worth of breakfasts.

Could not eat my tea tonight still full. I think we actually took about 2 hours to eat it.

Glad you had fun, nursemaggie, floss and Softstuff

'Small pleasures in life' dept....I have a new mousemat. It's round and has a picture of Smarties on it :D The old one had been a free gift from Red Star Parcel Services, which doesn't even exist any more, and was over twenty years old.

I was surprised to find that currys/pcworld had just two mousemats in the shop! Of course, we're all supposed to have a tablet these days, and those are such fun, aren't they, monnagran? Monnagran??? :rotfl:
