I think it all comes down to eating a variety of fresh, natural foodstuffs, including all different colours of fruit and veg. Have you noticed that a lot of the processed stuff that is supposed to be bad for you is usually a bland shade of brown or beige? Think chips, bread, pasties etc. Down with beige food! One life - your life - live it!0

Of course, a little bit of white or beige is ok, in the form of nice, fresh bread for example. Just keep it in moderation, that's all.One life - your life - live it!0

that's how I'm going about diet nargle... moderation. I think if I tried to follow everything I'd be scared to eat!
Sorry Lyn. Purple fruits and vegetables in the diet help stop the deterioration. Fruits are thought to have a higher count of the 'good stuff' (sorry the beneficial element escaped my memory) but as we tend to eat more in the terms of veg in a sitting the numbers even out. Its the programme on BBC1 tonight. Last week was about diet and muscle wastage and this week is about brain deterioration in aging. Well worth a watch and very interesting.0 -

I can't imagine any circumstance under which you would be perceived as the bad gay.
I must be getting really stupid as I have not seen anything that looked as if it could cause bad feeling."This site is addictive!"
Wooligan 2 squares for smoky - 3 squares for HTA

fuddle what is the program called? I think I missed that.
Monna I will think of you taking all your stuff back to the island every time I move my shopping trolley to get in my wardrobe or vacuum cleaner to open my knickers draw or knock over the bin wheeling my trolley out of my bedroom.
Did you ever cut down all those knitting needles? Maybe you could use them to poke things into the tiny spaces. Put wheels on everything it is the only way to manage! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -

As an OAP too late for me to worry about brain deterioration but my boss being a bit older we manage our limitations between us so I'm not going to worry about purple fruits.... However please tell me me about Lidl's tiger breadIts not that we have more patience as we grow older, its just that we're too tired to care about all the pointless drama0 -
If someone had challenged me I don't think I could have used so many ks in a sentence.0

Blinkin ell, it's taken me the best part of a week to get back on to mse. Tried to get on it at the beginning of the week and it had logged me off and stuck me on the new illegible site. Fair enough, I think, I'll just log in again. Nope, no such password. Try with facebook and nada. Try resetting the password and it claimed my email wasn't recognized.
Floss and Nursemaggie, if you don't want to meet me there are easier ways than hacking mse to get rid of me
In any case, the use of 2 different computers and 1 software developer got me back ere.
*phew*
So sorry for missing everything. Hope you're well and your usual mischievous self now monnagran.
So Floss and Nursemaggie, how about 12pm on monday 25 april outside the front entrance of marks and sparks in Blackpool? By the front I mean the side that opens to street level rather than the side that you go up or down steps. Providing nothing has changed. I ask now because I'm flying in a couple of days and won't have internet access then for the duration.Softstuff- Officially better than 0070 -
Of course Sortstuff I expect I will find it. Not been to Blackpool since DS was a toddler so nearly 20 years. I was living down south and was not up to going out all day until recently.
I had this sort of problems not being able to get on MSE. Discovered it wont accept me from the browser I signed up with but will from Chrome. Don't ask I can't figure that one out either.
I can get to 1/10/2015 on one thread, not this one, it will not move on from 1st October.0 -
Monna good luck with picking up your stuff. If you're short on titus I have plenty to go around.
Softstuff et all enjoy the meet up
Swedish bubble and squeak sounds interesting though not 100% sold on the raw egg yolk but as the saying goes "don't knock it til you've tried it"0
