I've told you before Monnagran, if you fancy some heat and humidity, not to mention much peace and quiet, you'd be welcome to come visit. I even have flooring in the spare room now. The tiles aren't laid yet, but they're in the spare room:rotfl:Softstuff- Officially better than 0070 -
Actually, I hate heat and humidity. I work on the principal that you can always make yourself warmer but making yourself cooler is a whole different ball game...
Give me sunshine and temperatures around the upfront mark and I'm happy.
How the blazes can the tablet decide that when I type seventy degrees Fahrenheit I really mean ' upfront'?
Anyway, to return to the subject, any temperature above that and I lie on my bed with the curtains pulled and sip iced drinks.
Come to think of it, that's not a bad way to spend a few hours. Perhaps heat and humidity have their advantages.
Don't you just love these nocturnal philosophical discussions?
Ah. I forgot. You are still diurnal, aren't you?
Back to my crossword.

I do have wonderful air conditioning now Monnagran, and I'm not afraid to use it! And very cheap chilled pinot grigio....Softstuff- Officially better than 0070

I have a very RV, a cat coughing up bloody furballs in inaccessible corners and wet horrible bloody 6C mizzle. I want to bite somebody.0
-
I reckon if you gave the RV a bite, it'd shock him into silence for a day or 2.
We've had 68mm of rain since 9am. It's a touch damp.
Meanwhile, I thought I'd won the battle with the cat and the herb and veggie garden by putting in skewers to stop him going there. The bleedin thing managed a feat worthy of the krypton factor navagating through it all to dump a stinking crap right in there. Running out of ideas and patience, have tried chilli, citrus peels, vinegar and skewers. Anything else is serious money and inconvenience :mad:Softstuff- Officially better than 0070 -
Can you get TCP liquid, Softstuff in Australia? I put some on a cut last week and my 2 avoided me like the plague. even when I washed it off. You could soak strips and wind around the skewers?0

Worth a go, thanks. The problem I'm facing is a lot of things wash off and need redoing after rain and it's raining every day.
At least I don't mind the smell of Tcp too.Softstuff- Officially better than 0070
