At least you can stay cosy while you talk to us with said tablet, although I say that losely ghe amount of posts it's gobbled up.

I don't like typing on them either. I love having all my stuff in one place and being able to check in with what is happening in the world from my warm bed of a morning is lovely but I don't typing. I tried talk to text but it seems is doesn't understand the Durham mother tongue. Is there such a thing as a plug in keyboard for tablets? Alright, I know, a complete condradiction eh?

I've just sat down from making crumpets. They will taste like crumpets but without crumpet rings they are rather freeform. :rotfl:

Hi all,
So want to scream ....some thing happened at the bar yesterday , someone was asked to leave because they are barred ,asked in a polite way , buy my dh , on leaving verbally threatening , left the bar .... shortly later at home criminal damage , thank god we were not hurt , ..as I can't say it was said person who did it ,or rather there is no evidence , let's just say it wouldn't take sherlock Holmes to work it out ...but police can't do anything (not blaming them) .....so now a couple of hundred pounds lighter and a bit fed up ....... Its a job !! Unpaid ...

Oh Burtha, that's a real nuisance... I suspect the person you barred is now definitely on the no-entry list!

Life is rather slow here - DH is a bit under the weather, we're finding places for the treasure trove he brought home from his family home, and I am at the swimming-through-treacle stage. Had a good day today meeting up with a friend and then 2 of my brothers to be Santa and deliver a belated Christmas

Sad thing is he was always on the no enter list ! But to then come to my house and do what he did or paid someone else to do is sad , .. just waiting now to see what else will happen .....as it is just waiting now for our house to be made safe, ...bricks through windows ....thank god my kids were out

Burtha that is terrifying. You think of your home as your sanctuary and you must feel violated now. It's scary when something like this happens and you can't feel safe any more..
Keep warm, Cuddle a hot water bottle because you probably feel shivery. Hot drinks and hugs are the order of the day
I don't know if you have good neighbours but if you do ask them to keep their eyes peeled for anything suspicious. I do hope that the police were sympathetic even if there is not much they can do.

Keep telling yourself, "This also will pass." Lots of tight hugs.

Yikes Burtha, that's terrible. I hope that the police can do something, there has to be some evidence they left, or cctv surely? Can't stand the idea they'd just get away with it.

I have caught OH's cold. It's DD1's birthday today and she has one too, so we'll go and see her later without worrying that we'll infect her!
