Ivyleaf: I think I have all or most of her CMs. They aren't cheap but I love them. They are mostly compilations so you occasionally come across the same piece on two or three different records. The meditations I referred to are on "Silence of the soul." If I just want a quiet background I like "Her music for violin". I'm not a huge fan of violin music but this is lovely.

If you would like a listen to see if it is to your taste PM me and I'll send one to you so that you can have a borrow.

Lillibet: Sadly the Rev and I parted company. It's a long and emotional story so I won't bore anyone. We had a fabulous ten years and it will take me a long time to find out who I am and where I fit into this new life. I think she will find the same thing.

Sometimes life is just a bu&&er.

    Thank you for asking.

monnagran - life can indeed be a booger. I think the saying about new doors opening when old ones close is true. You are now on the road to a new life, you may well get a place of your own in the near future, in the meantime you are with your family and starting to make new friends.

The future is yours for the taking, enjoy it.

Monna, we all love you so much on this thread and I would like to think I was only asking what everyone was thinking. Please forgive me.
I'm sorry to hear of the parting of the ways. I have always been an 'Anne of Green Gables' type of person in that I only ever see new opportunities where others see hurdles/challenges. I'm sure that, in time, you will find your new niche in life and will see 'the reason' why things have happened the way that they have.
Please know that you carry with you, every day, the love and support of numerous peeps here who you will probably never meet in real life, but hold you dear in our hearts.

You're finding your feet at home, it's just a different home to what you had thought. Sound familiar? Boogar, boogar, boogar eh?

Change that isn't chosen is always going to be hard but that doesn't mean that good stuff won't come fluttering along again. I once knew a very knowledable pigeon on IOW... I do hope you see 'im some day ;) He had his eye on everything. He didn't need a niche or want one really. He observed and commented, rarely missing a trick. ;)

Now that I look like I have lost the plot completely monna, I will leave you with this. My grandma used to say a person with too many things to do can't be any good at any of them. Now forgive me saying that you had your fingers in a lot of pies... but you were busy. Also forgive me for suggesting that you weren't any good at them!!! But now is the time to find a few things for you to e n j o y.

Just being you is your niche. You'll see it one day... when the feelings of wanting to trip up the puller of the rug from under you subside. metaphorically, of course. x

I am so angry. I had almost finished a grateful and appreciative post when one of Martin's messages popped up and wiped it off. Martin, did your mother never tell you that it is rude to interrupt?

I'll try again when I have calmed down. Love you all
