  • The weather is glorious here today :D. I resisted going out until OH came home from work this afternoon. I slathered myself in factor 30, put on my sun hat and ventured out on the crutches. 20 min later OH stopped teak oiling the lounger to announce, have you seen the colour of your chest? I'm very very red :(. Time to find the Alovera.
I am playing all of the right notes just not necessarily in the right order :D.

ouch Mrs VP! The one and only time I have ever been sunburned was after 4.30pm, for same length on time as you and in the spring. It was the first day of my honeymoon.

It is as well not to sit in the sun for more than 10 minutes for the first week at this time of year as you have not had any sun to speak of for at least six months. You do need some as you need some vitamin D for the healing of your bones.

I can only describe my complexion very very pale.

I'm having a more relaxing evening than I planned. Have done something, don't know what, to my back and it is agony so I can hardly move. Moan, moan, moan and I don't have any fig rolls in.

;) This is the low calorie version, of course. Hope you soon feel better.

Well done on the interview Camelot.
Congratulations on house sales TMD and Softstuff.
Hope the leg is better Alfsmum, and the MRI booked nursemaggie.
My days are still filled with plasterers and electricians and plumbers but we are getting there slowly but surely.
DS has developed green fingers and we now have spinach, broad beans, green beans, courgettes and tomatoes - well the plants anyway! Also picked up some £7 fruit trees in Mr Ms which was bit naughty given we shouldn't be spending money now but it's got to be good long term, right?! Our new inherited garden is looking lovely but is going to need considerably more weeding than I am used to.
