Camelot - well done! Its a challenge these days to get to interview stage. Deep breaths - you can do it!Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0

Good luck Camelot you've already got through all those applicants which is brilliant:T
Another sunny morning, more gardening and decluttering to do while I have time off plus cakes to bake and freeze for charity sale next week when I will be back at work and won't have time to bake. Did has a week off Uni so she will help.
Antibiotics still playing havoc with my stomach so lots of little rests to fit in between to jobs - at least the infected leg is looking a little less red. One of the hardest things is spacing out food around the meds (the whole empty stomach thing) as I am a grazer so am having to be very disciplined about my eating. Does anyone else still stick to 3 meals a day and no snacks which is what I remember from my childhood? I'm not overweight, right at the bottom of my bmi scale or even below, but I am used to eating little and often all day now (probably when I feel bored at work I eat another Apple/banana/orange etc lol). It's quite interesting to space out my meals then when the time comes to eat them this week I'm not that bothered! Weird!
Have a good day all, off to look for hebes later.....0 -
Morning all,
Sheila I hope you can take it easy and that your tests come back with good results.
Camelot Congratulations! I'm sure you'll be fine in the interview. I don't think many people enjoy them! Just remember that if you got an interview out of 195 applications you're already a great applicant.
The weather is forecast to be warm and sunny today, so I will try to arrange my 'have to do' list so as to maximize my 'want to do' time. I'll get a wash in and tidy round first thing as usual. Exam prep questions this morning and then some reading for that as well. I might be able to take the reading into the garden, depends on how noisy it is out there, then this afternoon I'll be in the garden with my knitting.
I think tonight's scheduled tea is an aubergine recipe from Frugal Food (I'm still a little excited and making several recipes from the book this week, sad I know!) but tomorrow is scheduled to be a rice and veggie dish from the same book which might be more suitable for today's weather. I'll think about it over my knitting.
I've finished the bottom ribbing for the back of the cardigan and have started the back panel. Much to my surprise it actually looks like it is supposed to. Lets see if I change my tune when I get to the arm bits where there is shaping involved.:rotfl:
Hugs to all of the poorlies, and I hope the sunshine is making an appearance elsewhere for some of you.0 -
Alfsmum, it is only since being with my OH that I've stuck to a strict 3 meals schedule. Although I always ate something at mealtimes, I did a lot more grazing when I was on my own and although I'd eat meals at meal time they were smaller, more like bigger snacks. As a teenager I used to finish my packed lunch before lunch time, eating bits of it here and there.0

Toomuchdebt Wishing you much happiness in your new home0 -
Well done Camelot. They like you already. Just be yourself and show interest. You've got an interview, so you know your stuff!
Alfsmum, I stick to three meals now unless I meet friends for coffee. Then I treat that as my lunch. I have Crohn's and this works for me.0 -
Good luck Camelot, everything is crossed for you!
Alfsmum, we're 3 meals a day here... apart from on my fast days when I'm down to one. Don't tend to be hungry between though.Softstuff- Officially better than 0070 -
Camelot - lots of luck and all fingers crossed for you!
A*di have lemons on the super six this week, so I am going to buy 3 packs and try my hand at making preserved lemons, as I am tired of reading recipes containing ingredients I haven't got ... and apparently it only takes salt to make them. I am using this recipe:

If they are half as nice as they sound, it will be a few minutes (and pence) well spent.0 -
Good luck CamelotMust use my stash up!0
