Sneaked back in to say that I finally gave up trying to do the change on line. Is it me, or do they never ask the right questions on these online forms?
Anyway I eventually tracked down a telephone number, and they don't make that easy I can tell you, spoke to a very nice lady who led me by the hand through the whole process. I go offline tomorrow and should be back on next Friday.
Back on how I'm not sure but she assured me that I'd only have to plug it in and all would be well.
Plug in what where, I wonder.
    Ah well.

Good luck burtha, enjoy the space.

karcher I would have to do it there is no floor to dump it on only the space needed to open and close the door. There is about an 8 in space on one side of the bed for me to get in and out of bed.

I had all mine out before I went to Malta. I did put two tops to take to a charity shop but I have still not got round to taking them there.

Guess what? I have just had an engineer come to fix my immersion heater and I have had to empty my airing cupboard for him. The sofa is full.

Monna you need a router. I expect your DS is taking that. Did it include the phone? Our phone came with the router when we had BT. I think you need to ring them back.

I got annoyed with the total disarray of my clothes in the hanging shelves in my wardrobe...so the lot was duly tipped onto my bed with the view to folding and re-stacking the shelves!

Cue a massive bout of CBA and I'm now sat on the sofa with a cup of coffee :o

Who wants to place bets on the lot still being there when it is time to retire to my bed tonight...and the lot unceremoniously being [STRIKE]placed[/STRIKE] dumped on the floor :o

:rotfl:That was on my to do list for today. It's still on my list. I'll try it tomorrow morning after I turf DH out of bed. Then I'll have to put everything away before I can have a nap in the afternoon!

Yes Monna call them back.... if your DS is taking the router you need to get them to send you a new one...then plug that into a thingy somewhere and turn it on till it flashes at you ;):D

Oh you two will be expelled from the Konmarie school.
I'm making hay and e-mailing everyone who will be wondering why I am no longer talking to them.

My poor DS2 and DIL have just come back from their visit to inspect the work that was to be done on the little bungalow they are renting.
Hester, this is the other side of the story.

The previous tenants had been there for about 4 years and things had been let go. When DS2 went to sign the lease they were told that before they moved in contractors would deep clean the house and it would be decorated throughout. The garden would be tidied up and made good..

Hardly any of that had been done. The cleaning had been sketchy at best. The showers were rusty and, (get this Hester) the toilet seat was broken. There were green stains in the bath. There were cobwebs and dirt in corners and far from the place being decorated, a patch on one wall had been painted. In a different colour. DS looked at the underneath of the wall cabinets in the kitchen and the light fittings were brown with rust and grease.
As for the garden........There were weeds growing out of the drains and the rest of the garden was covered in brambles. The contractor had just chopped the tops off. There was an apple tree in the back but you couldnt see it because it was covered in 30 ft brambles. DIL said they'd be OK for blackberries and apples.

Apparently the Landlord hasn't seen the place for years. and for this they are paying £800 a month. A clause in their lease says that they must leave the place as they found it, so DS is going in with his camera tomorrow to make sure that they do just that. At least they will have a clean cooker because they have to supply their own, as well as all the white goods.

Poor things. They had to hand over £1,700 for this. DIL gave the agent a real tongue lashing but they've signed the lease so they just have to get on with it for 6 months.
Phew. I feel better for having got that off my chest.
    Sorry for venting.

I'll get back to my e-mailing. It's only going be for a week for goodness sake.

Yes I think it is a router that is coming. I've paid nearly £60 for something so perhaps that is what it is.

    Breathe!
