I can think of worse ways to spend the afternoon! It really was a miserable day wasn't it.

Now get back in to good habits with a nice early bedtime young lady (and let me be a dirty stop up without feeling too guilty).
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Hehehe thanks for the kick up the proverbial scuba!! I deserve it...... I still feel tired today even though I was in bed well before 11.30 and straight to sleep. Hopefully another good sleep tonight will set me straight again.

I've only felt up to small non-demanding jobs today but have done lots of those - so that's actually been quite useful. I've got some large high-concentration-level tasks to complete by the end of the week but there was no chance they were getting done today!

  • I'm still the same HB and was totally drained today. I didn't have a nap though and went to bed at 10 but I'm wide awake and I've just got up again because I keep OH awake and he has to be up at 4.30.

Had a bit of a treat day today. Naught I know but it came out of my no smoking budget. Well most of it did. I bought DD new trainers and OH a pair of named pumps lol and I treated myself to a new laptop oops lol.

It was a bargain though as it was an end of range one. Under £280 and I took finance on it. My credit rating seems to be getting a lot better thankfully. I was going to pay in full but oh well. It was a little treat (blip) lol.

Hope you are ok. Might as well catch up on other diaries while I'm not tired. xx

^ Woohoo the best of reasons!! Glad you're ok Westie hun. Now back to potting your coins :rotfl:

I had to go into town today to do lots of errands and pay some bills. On the way in I was reading the Metro paper on the bus and it had vouchers in for Burger King - so I got a Big King and fries for £1.99 - not bad and a good excuse to go in there - I can't remember when I was last in but it was at least 3-4 months ago - definitely wouldn't be good to do it too often but I enjoyed the treat today!

They've done it again - for some reason T£sco have selected me again to receive 25 extra clubcard points every day for 12 weeks with a purchase of the Sun newspaper:j:j

I won't buy it on Sundays when it's so much more expensive, but on weekdays it will be fab as last time I had this I collected around £12 points i.e £48 in deals! It would be possible to collect over £15 in points/£60 deals but there are bound to be days when I don't buy one.

Also, although I don't like the Sun as a paper, it always has a few good silly stories that are ideal for the radio show. I usually look around for one that might have been left on the bus or in the hospital cafe, or sometimes someone else will have brought one into the studio.

Last time I received this offer I cut out loads of money-off coupons etc so that added to my profits:beer::beer: They also have vouchers for 2-for-1 entry to attractions like Chessington, Alton Towers etc and I think they've got a promotion coming up where you can collect tokens for 2 free tickets for Thorpe Park:T:T

If anyone else has received this deal let me know so we can help each other make the most of it!:D

Never heard of it but I like the idea of free points to boost up as required :)
