I'm not going to watch much of the Djokovic match (unless it goes on and on and I might see the end) but I will hopefully see Federer/Murray late afternoon. My allegiance is torn - would usually support Murray if he was playing anyone else.....but I've always loved R-Fed! And I would love to see him beat Pete Sampras' record.


So from what you were saying on Levi's thread Westie, it will be this time next year that we'll receive details about reduction in our WTC?

I'm starting to have a good sort out with the ultimate aim of kondoing everything LOL! I've cleared out 4 drawers (left the bottom one at the moment as it contains gift wrap, cards etc and is already neat and tidy)

Just watched a youtube vid of kondoing undies and socks so will do all those next. (Will I break my habit of rolling my socks inside one another??)

I expect I'll get addicted LOL! I've also taken a couple of bags to the charity shop and have a few things for fleabay:j

I think so but I dont know but I can see them changing the amount now as we all have our final award notices, but then again we cant trust the government not to change their minds...

just start budgeting better is my idea as you just cant rely on the extra money now :-(

Becs and Westie what a disappointment for a R-Fed loving birdie!!!! I wanted him to get that 8th title and beat Pete Sampras' record sooooo much! Especially as he didn't quite manage it last year....beaten by Djokovic again!!! Very frustrating since Djok got so close to being knocked out by Kevin Anderson....but hey there's always next year and at least the Sampras record is equalled even if not beaten!!

I'm very pleased with myself this morning. I've tackled a wadge of horrible paperwork (worse than tax credit renewal LOL) which has to be done by Friday (doesn't everything LOL:D) and for me to get on with important stuff that demands concentration first thing on a Monday morning is something of a revelation and can only be put down to the improved sleep!! Previously I would have dragged myself through very straightforward stuff only, due to feeling only partially awake, and propped up by numerous cups of coffee, and any important/detailed work would not get started until probably Tues afternoon LOL!!

This is even more great since I had been feeling quite down over the weekend, brought on by going through my finances and getting overwhelmed by it all again....there were tears....:o
I must remember not to do that on a Saturday night again!!! Feeling much brighter now that we're into a new week:T

Yes, and I've given myself a bit of a talking-to!! There will be tears at times of course due to everything getting overwhelming, but that's not going to solve the situation....only plans carried out with faith and determination can do that. Onwards and upwards!! (Again!!:p)

Very happy to have found my headphones this morning, which I thought I'd lost on Friday while working in the library ...found them at home in a forgotten bag LOL!
