Have a fab time in Manc at the Wedding HB!!

That reward chart sounds amazing. I wish it motivated me!! Music is my motivator.

Am laughing at the Saved by the Bell theme tune ;) and Hummingbird, my personal theme tune right now is the lyrics to 'Tsunami' by DVBBS.

Stuck in a daze I feel like I'm riding a wave.
My life is a rollercoaster inside of a maze.
I hope its a phase, spending away more than I save.
I don't know if I'm acting my age any more man, I need to break out of this cage.

:rotfl: - I work out to this song. Like I said.. music motivation ;)

    Have a good one xxx

Loved this Lilty - I must find my motivating music and start working out! Especially after all that wedding food :D

Yes I have thanks Westie..... I had two nights of 2am over the weekend, the first night I slept as soon as I got to bed but the second night (Sunday) I didn't sleep for more than about 2hrs.......probably not helped by having pizza very late at the Crowne Plaza...washed down by some very nice red wine LOL :-) when we met up that second time with the wedding party!!

So Monday night and last night were back to early nights (well early for me, a lot of folks would still think they were late LOL)

I'm aiming to gradually work back to earlier, i.e my "curfew" is midnight and I'm doing that easily now, and quite a few nights are pre-11.30:T:T:T So in time I'll be managing 11pm on a regular basis I'm sure!!

^the only downside is missing out on my late night ramblings with you Westie hun!!! Love our chats:heart2:

Went up to bed as planned at 11.00pm last night but it didn't work because......I took a book with me:rotfl: I'd only intended to read a few pages but it turned out to be far too interesting and thought-provoking so I still ended up with 11.45 lights out, then had thoughts from the book whirring around in my mind so couldn't sleep, and at about 1.30 am was up again making a cuppa.....etc.....etc!!:o

I do have some books that I read before bed that have a soothing effect (meditation/prayer type) so I will be sticking to those from now on!

Guess where I am right now?? In the Spanish Coastal cafe LOL:D Our Mr T's has opened a brand new shiny one today and they are offering half price drinks and free cake to celebrate, so I had to try it out!! I've brought my laptop for the outing!!

yes I miss our chats too, I was awake most of the night last night with horrific muscle spasms....

I wasnt able to make it to work today, I couldnt even get dressed anything touching my skin was like I was on fire... one saving grace is the heat as I cant cope with the duvet on my legs today, so just sitting here on my bed, willing the spasms to stop and calm down...

Spoke to my doctor today on the phone and he has prescribed new painkillers to try for a short term and has suggested I double up the ones I have to the moment, which I did and it sent me to sleep so just woken up again...

Hopefully things will get easier as the day goes on...

I hope the new painkillers sort it out Westie:o Hope you've been in a lot less pain since you've woken up.

If you are doubling up on your current meds lets hope it means you'll sleep right through tonight instead of the 4am wake-up xxx

Thats what should happen, but will my four hour sleep earlier mean that I wont feel tired till later...

The doubling up did make me more drowsy and stopped me thinking about the pain in my legs, its like when you first hear a humming, you then cant not hear it... when you get pain it hard not to think about it...

I must say the painkillers must have done something as I was able to sleep for a bit and no pain, its just a dull ache at the moment, trying to ignore it, cant take any more painkillers till 6pm...

so lets see if I can make it...

Till then it must be an ice cream time :-)

^Mmm more mint choc chip ice cream!!!!

No star for me today, I missed my bedtime as it was 12.05am - only by 5 mins but still missed. The good thing was that I went out like a light as they say and didn't wake up until 7.00am:T:T So in many ways I did better than the night before when I went to bed at 11.00pm with the book but then didn't sleep.

Actually, before you start thinking the book must have been 50 Shades of Grey:rotfl:it was actually "The Richest Man in Babylon" by George Clason - absolutely fabulous read and I have almost finished it now. Just need to start putting it into practice!!! If you haven't read it I would highly recommend it!! It was written in about the 1920's but to say it speaks to us today is a total understatement - it talks about everything we're dealing with on here and how to get out of it but in story form set in ancient Babylon, which makes it an entertaining read as well as a thought-provoking one!

I was asked if I wanted to go to Birmingham this afternoon ( a friend was going anyway to get her hair done so asked me if I wanted a little road trip/look round the shops etc) but I've had to say no because it would have inevitably involved spending money, (and probably a meal out) and I had 3 days away last weekend at the wedding. I always seem to be on the razzle and I have no idea how I do so much on no money:o but on this particular occasion I've had to say I can't do it - we're already meeting up next Thursday with another friend so I'll still see her soon.

Well done on the sleep, I have just woken up and am watching the Djokovic match....

I think you have made the right decision about not going out, if you cant trust yourself not to spend money or limit your spending, then staying at home works and you are proof of that well done....

I have to be more fugal now since the budget was released as it looks like I will be one of those that will loose a chunk of WTC when the threshold goes down...

    :-(
