Taking all the discounts i would be £50 better off moving from Ovo . Its worth £50 not to move to a supplier find they are not on the ball wait for credit to be returned etc etc .
That's a judgement that no comparison site can help you with. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Oh, I forgot to mention the £30 cashback from MSE Energy club so it's worth even more to switch.0

Certain about Daligas
(unless they have recently changed their policy too, e.g. like Zog)
As you have found, the supplier will reject you when you apply, if you are with an IGT. - it's identifiable from your M-number (MPRN)
Speaking with Daligas, they say they are currently working to support IGT customers. However, they cannot say if it will be in the next 6 months, or 12 months. They only say it is something they want in the near future.
Could all be sales talk, but that is what they told me when I asked them about the IGT situation.0 -
Just did my regular monthly Uswitch comparison and looks like the Scottish Power March 2016 (which luckily I switched to) marked the low point in the price cycle. For the moment.
Purely personal view, but if Ukraine calms down and fears of Russian gas being cut off subsides, the downward trend could re-assert itself.
If the SP April 2016 is cheaper than your current deal, switch. But I would not think it a good idea to go for the SP May 2017 2 year fix - that is expensive.0 -

3.000p (Mar 2016) vs 4.009p (May 2017) per kWh for gas.
I don't think I have ever paid more than 3.5p for gas.
All we need is for the crude oil price to stay low for another year,
and get another one year fix in March 2016. Even if it shoots back up, I don't think a one year fix will be 4p per kWh in March 2016.0 -
Taken from Ovo's website (4 March 2015):
Following an upward shift in wholesale energy costs, we announced a 5.2% price increase on 00.01am Tuesday 3rd March 2015 on our 12-month fixed tariffs (Better Energy and Greener Energy). These changes only affect new and renewing customers and is largely a reflection of a 10% uplift in gas and 6% uplift in power costs caused predominately by political unrest in Ukraine since OVO’s last price drop in January.
I can't wait for 2017 for the dramatic tariff reductions when all this cheaper wholesale supply from over the last few months begins to feed into the system OR will the utility suppliers just hike up prices again no matter how much wholesale prices have reached? I wonder......0 -
Just switched thru Energyhelpline from MSE EON deal to their EON deal to save a further £90 -looking back thru previous spreadsheets I'm back to 2009 price levels !!0

Which E.oN deal?
EHL Collective Fixed 1 Year Paperless Billing- registered on the Energyhelpline website and used EON 1 year fix v15 as current ( MSE EON deal not listed) -when I input the new tariffs into my spdsheet (not using EHL's "savings") it gives me a ~ £90 saving pa and already had it confirmed by EON reps that I won't be charged the switching penalty.:)

I am just interested as I am on E.oN v14 paperless and v16 would be a £65 increase for me as E.oN prices have actually gone up.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
