No - but I'm not the one suggesting that that you are doing something wrong

I am not enraged by the council's questions, I am worried HB will be stopped. Now, if I could get a well paid job I would get one but as I have already stated on many of the posts above the area I live in has a poor history of wages with super high rents. I would be lucky to make NMW...and I can't afford to do that. (I should point out that I have only claimed HB for two years and i have worked full time for the majority of my life)

For the 4th time, why not ebay in your spare time, get a job!

    I'm merely suggestion the above...

As you are already registered on EBay as a Business seller maybe there is scope to expand, is this an option? I'm not on about to satisfy the HBO but to increase your income.

You appear to have a quite negative attitude. I'm sorry if this offends you but it's just my opinion.

If you're worried about your HB being stopped you need to make plans now. Start looking for a job in another area, if it means moving, then that may be what you have to do. You're single, you have a car, you're only 40, there are thousands of jobs, take off the blinkers.

    I'm merely suggestion the above...

    A) I'd have to find a job - they don't just appear on trees. Especially in the area I live in
    B) There is no guarantee that the job would want me (a Tesco Express recently opened 12 miles away and they had over 4000 applicants for 3 jobs)
    C) The amount I make from ebay is small (and that's from doing it for 35 hours let alone a few at the weekend) so NMW plus ebay - not enough to live on.

OP I find that a little offensive, you cant "afford" to take a nmw job. lots of people have to.

    Get a lodger
Get a job and ebay part time
    advertise as a cleaner/home help/rural shoping service

    I wish you well.

Yet again, I live in my home town where my elderly mum lives - I am the only child that lives here and provides care for her. It's not viable.

Did you apply for one of the jobs at Tesco ? A part time job plus ebay would have helped surely ?

Yes, lots of people have to - only I don't have room for a lodger, jobs are hard to come by and I live in a very deprived area. Sorry if this offends you..it's really easy to judge someone without knowing them.
