    Hi
    I live in England.
    please explain what does NTK mean?
    on the letter do I put the keeper or my own name?
    How do I find out who is the land owner is/are?
    I think it is a private parking ticket because it is from smart parking ltd

    Thanks

    Hi, I don't think you have read the newbie stick very well ;-)

    NTK = notice to keeper

    If you are not the registered keeper then who ever is will send off the first appeal when the NTK letter arrives.

    Hi all I have re-looked at parking notice and have come to realise I had to punch the car details is the machine before it would give me a ticket. Does that mean I entered in a contract with smart parking LTD? Please advice..........

    thanks Ralph-Y

    I sent them the template letter and I am still waiting for a reply, but in the mean time they have sent me a demand for the full cost of £100. I think I was outside the 28 day period by the time I sent my letter. should I still hold out for the replay??????

    any advice welcomed.

    You've been told what to read to get the information you require. The NEWBIE sticky thread was written specifically to help people appeal these tickets themselves without asking the same questions over and over.

    Regulars on here don't mind helping or answering questions but not if those questions are answered elsewhere. You need to go back and read the NEWBIES thread slowly so you take it in and understand it.

    Although dealing with PPCs is not rocket science, it does require a certain amount of effort. If you are not prepared to get stuck in either pay someone else to do it for you or pay the knuckle draggers.
    You never know how far you can go until you go too far.
