Update Thursday 9 April
Vote in the Post of the Month March Poll
What's it about?
Post of the Month is a fantastic opportunity to highlight the useful, MoneySaving posts you've read on the Forum that you think deserve recognition. The best will get our special Post of the Month badge from MSE Badger!
Who's MSE Badger and what's it about?
You may have seen some of MSE Badger's badges on forumites' profiles e.g., on the Debt Free Wannabe and Mortgage Free Wannabe boards where people have cleared their debts and paid off their mortgage early. And perhaps on the Grabbit board where forumites' fantastic spots have been included in the weekly email.
What to do
To nominate the forum post and poster you feel have been most useful or helpful this month..
Maybe you've seen a fab frugal idea on the Old Style Board, a bargain game console on the Gaming Board or a fantastic grow-your-own tip on Greenfingered MoneySaving.
Remember, by doing this you're nominating, NOT voting - there is a difference!
How will we pick the winner?
At the end of the month the MSE Team will shortlist the 10 posts we like the best (if there are that many!) and put them in a poll for you to vote on. The post with the most votes will win the badge - hooray!
We're really looking forward to seeing what you've enjoyed reading this month...

- In one paragraph say why you feel this forumite deserves a Post of the Month badge.

I would like to nominate a post that I read from Firewyrm in answer to a query about a charging debt management company and the extorniate fees they wanted to charge the OP.
Firewyrm's answer explained exactly why we should never go to a fee-charging company and gave the reason's why and alternative avenues to explore. I think these companies prey on the desparate and the vulnerable when people are at their lowest and the advice contained in Firewyrm's is spot on!

I would like to nominate January2015 for post of the month for the post regarding the use of the Lending Code when fighting unfair treatment by creditors:

Knowing and being able to quote this information is invaluable when challenging creditors on their treatment of their customers who are in financial difficulty.
Many on the DMP & Mutual Support Thread have already found this post valuable but I think the word needs spreading.

I would like to nominate this post ...
It succintly, and constructively, says what many (most?) of the active forum membership probably feel.0 -

Also would like to nominate the same post as the previous members have mentioned. Most useful and well considered post I have read in a long time.
