Wow - you're all doing fabulously! And the variety of scrummy lunch ideas is really inspiring! Although lilahoo I'm with you on a good ol' cheese and pickle sandwich sometimes!
My work/lunch life has taken a curveball of late but I've kept on track - just! Last week went fine then Monday my car died on the M1 so I didn't get into work.Folks rescued me with a trusty towbar and took me out for lunch (so although I didn't pay for it I've not counted it either). Tuesday I went to have the leftover veggie soup due the day before only to find it had turned! :lipsrseal Coincidentally a colleague's fridge had died so the work fridge was stocked with yoghurts and fruit juice which tied me over - then the cafe were giving away that day's paninis so I got me a tuna cheese melt!
Yesterday was leftover bolognase and I thought of you all in the morning!I was going to be lazy and buy a jacket from the cafe to have with the mince - only to think "NO! What would the LTW Forumites do?!" So I bunged a potato in the oven, got ready for work, and wrapped it in tinfoil as I left! Reheated at lunchtime and it was delish! So thanks all - this thread is a good inspiration when it's needed at times!
Working from home today then in early tomorrow to watch the eclipse (with bacon butties) and a catered lunch meeting!
With that update I'm now on 8/14 (although this may go down to 13 if my 'breakdown' day doesn't count as a workday!)
Keep going all - just shy of 2 weeks left and we'll have saved some serious pennies in March! :T
