  • My wife had an interview at an employment agency on an industrial estate in Blackburn
When she arrived she walked into the building to find no receptionist at her desk as she did not want to be late she went straight to the agency had her interview & then left after 40 mins.
when she got to her car they had put a ticket on for £60 so she went back to the receptionist who was very apologetic & said do not worry about it I will get it cancelled. we heard nothing more until recently when they now have WRIGHT HASSALL chasing us for £193 saying they are taking us to court. I have explained everything to 3 different people but they say I still have to pay. should I take them to court ??

    cheers

Please don't hijack this zombie thread. It is highly likely that the letter from Wright Hassall says that their client is ZZPS (not ES) and waffles vaguely about how they might be instructed to bring a court claim.

If so, it's just a routine debt collector threatogram and you should ignore it.

Start your own thread if you want to discuss it further.

My sister parked in a child friendly bay whilst there was a family with a child who had some kind of extra needs, due to which the family had their car door opened so my sister parked a little further to the left as there was not another parking bay next to her. However this ES Parking company sent her £100 parking fine. The matter has been taken to court and hopefully good and common sense will prevail.
Her tyres were literally inches outside the lines of the parking bay and in the evidence picture you can clearly see the car next to it with its door open.

    Don't hijack old/outdated threads please!

Get stuck into the the Newbies Sticky and recent court threads to see what she needs to do to get shot of this.

Also, stop calling it a fine - It quite simply is not!

Despite being a hi-jack, it never ceases to amaze me just how much effort that MSE plc go into "protecting" some of these scammers....

If ES are completely legit, then surely there can be no objection to posting the legally obligated public domain information - https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/09363453/officers

Again, from that link, the public accounts are visible. With the numbers shown on the submitted accounts, either his signs are a great deterrent and very few invoices are issued, or he is barely earning enough from the business to keep a mouse warm in winter.

The figures are only up to 31st December 2015; but according to their web site:-

    https://www.espel.uk/
"We are the UK's number one parking management company based in Preston Lancashire"

(or are they just no1 in Preston!)
