Got a letter from the court today saying the claimant has now paid the fee and listing remains 19th and not in my local court although they have added my comments re not complying with the courts direction re deadlines.
What's the point in deadlines if ppl don't adhere to them?0 -
so this is actually going to go to court?
some people have more money than sense!0 -

If so then get onto the court now to see why they ignored/refused your request - and see if they will now transfer to your local court.
(But if you didn't request this on the original N181 quetionnaire form then you may have to just go)0 -
its getting ridiculous how are they going to prove anything they say without even owning the car anymoreWhat goes around-comes around0

Did you actually ask for any hearing to be at your local court?

Yes, they say it is a local court case but can be heard at one of three (Guildford, Staines or Reigate)0 -
Are they local to you though?0

So it looks as though the case has been allocated in your "local", and they have 3 to choose from.
Be prepared with your travel expenses if you do end up having to go!0 -
So to summerise.
Someone comes to buy car. You let them aware of issue with gears. Buyer acknowledges this and car is sold without any warranty intended and at a price to reflect it's condition.
Buyer them becomes unhappy, and submits claim via small claims court.
They advise what to do, buyer can't / doesn't do this as they've now sold the car on.
Can't see this going any way other than completely in your favour. All your base are belong to us.0
