    Morning Ladies.

I have a flurry of uu again

L'occitane Verbena Body Lotion 50ml - I enjoyed using this and have replaced it with a 75ml bottle.

L'occitane Verbena Shower Gel 75ml - I like this but do think it smells like bathroom cleaner. I have replaced it with another the same size.

St Ives Invigorating Apricot Scrub 30ml - I really like this and the blemish fighting scrub and have been using them regularly for many years. WBA.

Gatineau Defilift 3D Eye Cream 3ml - WNBA, I saw no discernible benefit from using this and it lasted a while so would have expected to see some results seeing as it is £40+ a tube.

  • Hello everybody

    I have UU's to report.

Listerine mouthwash 500ml in fresh mint. Personally I like the original taste better, this is a bit sweet but does the job. WNBA

Neils Yard Melissa Hand Cream 30ml. Holy Grail product. Love this stuff, but its not cheap. Will buy again, but not until I have used up a few others in my stash. Its smells absolutely fantastic, is none greasy.

Body shop Hemp face protector 50ml. Used this up on my body because it was getting old. Gives good moisture but I think I have gone off it, because of over exposure to the smell. I love the hemp products generally, but I need to give myself a break from them.

Elizabeth arden 8 hour lip balm. Lovely stuff. I liked this so much I have even been digging whats left in the tube out with a toothpick so I can apply it with my fingers. Disgusting I know. Probably won't buy this because it is expensive and I have others in my stash. Nice for a high end birthday gift.

Has anybody else gone off the smell of favourite previously holy grail products?

    Later.....

    Kiss

One IN - Avon Colortrend Blood Orange flavoured lip balm - will try anything blood orange flavoured/scented - decided to buy from ebay rather than Avon, as was tempted to buy too much that I didn't really need (and postage for one item was ridiculous!)

Hi all. Not sure about the new lay out for this site.

Anyhow my L'Occitane TSV arrived yesterday - very impressed by speedy delivery - and I have tried the two new products. Using the Whipped shea butter hand cream to replace the original tube that I have just finished. It's nice but no different to the original one IMHO. Also using the foam wash which is very weird. Is a liquid that turns to foam once pumped.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I normally turn up when I have something to report. Looks like a lonely March..

    2 UU
TBS Cocoa butter Shower Cream. 250 ml WBA
Boots Essentials moisturising cream 100ml WNBA. This was an experiment in trying the cheaper stuff. This one failed, Alas I have another in the stash, I shall get rid in true MSE style then never buy again!
  • One teensy UU

Modern Muse EDP sample - I don't love it so WNB. to me it smells too similar to lots of other things, prefer something more distinctive.

I keep eyeing up my splutterers in hope, looking forward to starting a new moisturiser.

Yesterday I was working at home so I put on all my craziest eye colours and lipstick. You have to be careful if someone comes to the door though.
  • UU - M&S Spiced Cranberry Body Lotion - didn't last long, this was 50ml! The consistency was light, which I like, it did however take a few seconds to sink in fully. It was okay at sorting out the dry patches, not the best. The smell was nice - OH even liked it.

UU - Redkin dry scalp shampoo - sorry but this isn't a patch on Nizoral, not worth the price at all. Was ok, made my hair a bit fluffier than normal, which was irritating. Glad it's done, WNBA.

UU - TBS Rainforest shine conditioner - great regular conditioner, got another in the cupboard!

TA - Mac fluidline in blacktrack - had this for years and it has finally completely hardened. Too much product in the pot to use up before it dries. I tried the eye drop and microwave tricks to revive it, but it made it worse, so it's going in the bin.

    Two TAs

Lord & Berry eye liner in smoke - was broken so threw
Chanel inimitable mascara - dried up so threw that as well. I loved that mascara when I was using it (about 8 yrs ago!), and totally forgot about it when something else came along. that's the danger of having too many cosmetics isn't it.
