At the end of the day, i would much rather just pay something to my daughter every month meantime, but it appears that her dad has determination over that as well.

Quite. Nice that you are offering to pay for your daughter now she is working. I think not! You going to send money from Mali via bank transfer??? How nice...

How about setting up a SO to the CSA and paying your dues. I'm sure her father will give your daughter the money considering he has brought her up.
  • Wow this thread never seems to go away and I can see why.

Im a bit confused, about AdamMcD and her motives. Surely the name is a give away - she is a he! as Loopy points out, a troll. If I am wrong, then she is a troll-ope!

There's always one ... and there's always one more who bites the bait ... sorry guys.

Mali? VSO? I don't think so ... any mother who choses to volunteer in deepest Africa than be by her offspring has had a shady past if u ask me.

  • Yup I did indeed take the bait...I hold my hands up.:j

But you never know if someone is genuine...and then when I realise that they are not then I'm always up for a bit of a barney - keeps the blood pumping!

Wow ... finally, something seems to be happening. I went to the ATm today, and it was trying to chuck money at me!

I started this thread in August last year, and now 15/16 months later I finally have some green ones coming in. The kids are going to have a much better Xmas than I envisaged ... thanks, mom! (sic)

It has taken this long for a DEO to kick in ... and boy, how it must have kicked in ( her teeth!) for a £900, just days before Christmas, ahh lovely jubbly! With all the arrears she has accumulated, I might even get a couple of months worth of this ... then again, I have learned NOT to expect, when the CSA are involved.

Just thought I would keep you all informed :T though I have no doubt that this is not the end of it. Thanks to all of the support and advice warmly received here over the last year or so ... THANKS!!

    Hey Enemes :)

Have been wondering where you have been - have been missing the banter;)

FABBY news for you...as you say, might not be a regular thing but at least the boys (and their Daddy) will have a great Christmas:beer:

    Mine's a rose wine remember;) :D:D

    Well done x

Well done Enemes - enjoy it. Word of warning (not that you need it though as you are clearly very sensible) - just keep your fingers crossed for regular payments, but don't ever rely on them! Champers out tonight then!

Well, who would have thought it ... those words of wisdom from kelloggs again.

Yip, 7 months down the line ... I got two minimal payments from the ex after my Christmas 'windfall', then it all dried up ... not suprisingly! Apparently, because of a 'technical problem' my case has gone manual ... which means it is in the hands of Bolton ( previously referred to by others here as 'The Vortex').

Has anyone been through the Bolton Bull**** and survived? Should I even bother anymore? Surely, it cant be that bad ... can it?

Would love to hear from anyone else who has been sucked down this same whirlpool ...

    Enemes
