the OP is expecting the postie to do that everyday for letter deliveries.
Quite annoyed at you as you just seem to want to find a excuse to troll, as I have blooming well said I have the problem with packets/parcels too stop making stuff up and putting words into my mouth.
Anyway as I knew I had things to be delivered this morning I woke up at 8.30 and unlocked the door, postman finally arrived about 11.45 but a item I ordered sent parcelforce never arrived and they claimed they attempted delivery at 8.45 and left a card neither of which they did so now I have to walk a mile to pick item up as they wont redeliver.0 -

Why would a postie deliver a Parcelforce item?0 -

how is pointing out the problem you are having to robatwork trolling and what words have I put in your mouth?
Parcelforce probably never left a card cos they couldn't get access to your box to leave one, if they can't get in to deliver the parcel how on earth can they post a card.0 -

I never said they did.
I didn't miss that, if they don't have access to your delivery point, they can't deliver letters or parcels, or leave a card to say as much.
You did say the block has 6 flats, so one of the other residents could have closed the door. That's why I have suggested fitting a trade button or a box on the door, the solution is an easy one, the setup you have atm is unworkable as you are finding out.
Contact the freeholder of the flats and explain the problem and get them to correct it, as it's only fair to place the blame where it is deserved rather than blaming a postie for not ringing your bell every morning.0 -
Well I was going to draw on a vast experience of RMs procedures along controlled entry delivery points.
Thinking not now though.
Good enough answer........?
I wasnt meaning you to give a good answer or not just since you asked me why I posted about parcelforce I put it there just because, it seemed you wanted a response to it and nothing else.I didn't miss that, if they don't have access to your delivery point, they can't deliver letters or parcels, or leave a card to say as much.

Theres no freeholder as its in Scotland, and I had a seperate delivery at 9am from DPD that came no problem and after they came I checked door and it was open and checked every 20-30 minutes.0
