Wealth = attractiveness?

  • When I met my OH he was a penniless, mature student with no driving licence, let alone a flash car! He now earns a bit more than me but we keep our money separate and split the cost for things such as holidays, trips out etc. My ex earned double what I did but we still split the cost of things equally, so I guess no, wealth isn't a motivator for me.
    BUT.....I couldn't be in a relationship with someone who is irresponsible with money, or unemployed with no intention of working...someone has to have a bit of get up and go for me to find them attractive.

    I've been Money Tipped!
    My biggest turn off is laziness. I don't care about wealth but I have never been in a relationship with a lazy man. All the role models in my life have worked hard (I don't just mean job wise, but up early doing stuff).
    Never again will the wolf get so close to my door :eek:
  • I'm single, in my early 50's and fairly solvent, I'm put off by potential male boyfriends who have no or little financial wealth.
    It makes me suspect they have been lazy or unlucky and both put me off.
