    No NSD for me today as DH and I went out for lunch. I took the opportunity to buy some wool and a new pair of knitting needles. That should be me for a while, so hoping to rack up a few NSDs over the next few days. :):)

    Yup another pound!:j Using My fitness pal which is fab and free to track calories, have set it to a pound a week and it seems to be working! Have bought some nice trainers and think Im going to try to move more initially rather than join the gym, going to try your suggestions! (Plus I have about a million well intentioned work out DVDs...)

    Jodles :D

    PS the muffins are only about 110kcals each so have a few!

    I was just thinking about you.I think that the trick to using sport to help you stay fit and tone up etc is to do something that you enjoy. You're more likely to keep at something you enjoy.
    For me it's swimming.I was advised a few years ago now,by two doctors,to take up swimming because of back problems. So I thought,ok,I'll try it out,and if it's awful then at least I've tried it.Having said that,I used to swim regularly and loved it.The main obstacle this time for me was having to appear in public in a cossie.I went to the pool and as soon as I was in the water,it just felt right.I bought a yearly membership card the next day and have never looked back.I've made loads of progress since.I just love swimming.

    Please share the muffin recipe with us.They sound good. :)
    And before I go to try on my new gold-dipped diamond-encrusted wellies that I just happen to have in my suitcase, here is NSD number 7 for the Cauldron of Doom.....Ooh, what is that funny cracking noise coming from the ice?

    Disaster!It's sinking! :eek::eek:

    Quickly-can someone nip back home in The Tardis to bring back our reserve cauldron please? :)

    butterfly2507 glad you like them. It's all part of the service! ;)

    fedupandskint since you're modestly storming ahead with a fab 'in a row' figure,I've also awarded you a prize on the front page. :j

    cheexy crafty thinking there, getting the birthday card early.Very MSE. :money:

    scotmumof3 what are you going to knit?

    gothrockchic1 halfway there - well done! :j

  • I forgot to say,today was #11.

    So,totaling up the numbers,we have a super 168 nsds, sinking slowly into the lake.

    Pretty good, considering that we still are not quite halfway through the month.

    Hurry up Igor.We need the spare cauldron ASAP.

    It is for me yes. I haven't knitted in a while so I might be a bit rusty but I'll give it a go :)
