Scotmun reporting in with NSD#5 :):)
I think I really need some lessons from kerry my pole dancing left a lot to be desired, although I don't have as many bruises as jodles but that could be because I kept landing on her. It was an accident I swear :D
marmite I hope you didn't hurt yourself too much when your teatray crashed into that tree. Me, I'm pretty sure I finished in first place or is that just the concussion talking :D Tea and cake sound good :)

It's my extra padding that makes me a good landing mat Scotsmumof3! Glad it saved you some bruises!heehee.

Marmite that's very good of you! And I like the clothes budget idea, makes sense! I have tried doing DVDs at home but just lack the motivation, I'm wondering if as I'm into MSE more than exercise the pull of making sure I get my monies worth might make me go! Still deliberating though, classes are so pants around here really as we are lot's of tows, want to try sweaty yoga but imagine I would have to go really far away, possibly Chester or Liverpool to find a place that offers it!

I'm also shouting in with NSD 7/20 today!

    Jodles :D

jodles16 there are lots of ways to get fitter without joining a gym: getting the stairs instead of lifts, parking further from work or getting off the bus a few stops earlier and walking. You could do weight lifting at home holding a tin of beans in each hand. When you're watching telly, get up during the ads and do some stretches.Get a hula hoop and use it.You'll gradually improve. It's great fun (I've got one and use it). :D
There's loads of exercise stuff on youtube as well.

I read somewhere that, when taking up a new behaviour,it takes about 30 times of doing it for it to become habitual IYSWIM.Something like that anyway.Even doing an exercise or sport twice a week is better than nothing, and is surely do-able?

If you do get a membership for a gym or something, nobody expects you to go every day,but if you can get into a regular routine, that's half the battle.

Walking is a great exercise, which is often forgotten about.Maybe get a speedometer and aim for 10 000 steps a day, which is the recommended amount ,I think.

I've just had a nice swim (30 lengths),and really want do my first run tonight. :)

    Wish me luck.

I've got an idea. Why doesn't Igor try one first? :rotfl:

    Hurry up there Igor.I'm starving!

All that malarkey with the tea tray has really knocked the stuffing out of me.

Now there's a lovely well brewed cuppa tea, none of this wave a teabag in the general direction of the cup malarkey!

I hear Swedish Chef is giving cookery lessons tomorrow, using a consignment of Gruyere cheese that Hans Peter got off the back of a lorry. We will be learning how to make cheese fondue, cheese dumplings, cheese tart, cheesecake, cheese pie, cheese quiche.....definitely a theme going on there...
