Igor, if you insist on entering the Sexy Knees contest at least have the decency to shave them first.

Now to get ready for my turn on the catwalk.....hang on, who has nicked my stiletto-heeled Manolo Blahnik wellies? Hubert! I should have known....not only do we have a donkey with dodgy fashion sense, he now has acquired a taste for the millionaire lifestyle.

If you think a donkey looks silly in high class wellies, just look at the elephant!

Igor is particularly keen to flash his knees in the sexiest knees comp. All his life his beloved mama has told him that they're his best feature - bless her.

Oh look, Delicious Gunther is entering the Sexiest Knees contest - he is lifting his trouser legs as we speak...higher, Gunther, higher! We can't see your knees, your trousers are so tight! Oh dear, there's only one thing for it....the tight leather trousers will have to come off...down! marmite, down! Control yourself, woman!

I'm sure that Gunther is used to having laydies throw themselves at him.....

I just hope that he isn't wearing a mankini.

Out of curiosity what do others include or not include as and NSD?
    My only permitted spends are

groceries : but junk foods such as cakes, sweets, biscuits, puddings, crisps and fizzy pop lose me an NSD. I used to count all groceries as a spend, then I relaxed the rules and allowed myself milk and sandwich meats as I could never predict how much (especially the milk) would get used by DS1 from one week to the next. But I found I was trying to buy all fruit and veg for a week in one shop, and throwing loads away. So in order to stop the waste I've relaxed it to all but junk (which I shouldn't really be eating due to cholesterol, blood sugar and weight!)

    and

petrol : only allowed because I've not been able to calculate when a fill-up is needed as easily since putting DS1 on my insurance on 13th March of last year. But if it's getting close to needing a fill up when I use the car on a non-NSD I'll fill it up then, so this relax of the rules doesn't actually gain me many - but it does remove the stress/panic when DS1 suddently decides to use the car for a day of running errands

Anything else, including all the utility bills, loses me an NSD. For that reason I've recently been in touch with a couple of companies (council and water) to change my d/debit day to 1st of the month along with several others so I get as much as possible over and done with in one day ;)

Ooh, so his orange suntan really does go all over......I think he has to be the outright winner of the Sexiest Knees contest. Hubert is now in a sulk because I disqualified him for trying to enter two sets of knees. And Swedish Chef, Igor and Hans Peter are doing a three part harmony acapella version of The Birdie Song, complete with all the actions. Think I'll join you in the sauna and steam room with a bottle or two of vodka....perhaps Delicious Gunther would care to join us?

cw18 - I like your idea of getting all direct debits out on one day. Makes great sense too for budgeting. May look into that this weekend.

Thank you for sharing all your NSD rules! I used to fill up every Sat but now it's more unpredictable as the distance I drive varies so the fuel lasts varying amounts of time! I don't include DD's though all but three go out on the same day, but they leave my house account which is planned spends and savings.

Think I let Kerri down with my pole dancing...and I have some big bruises from my attempts!

Good morning fellow moth cultivators and hungover revelers! :hello:

I do hope that you all had a jolly good time last night. :)

jodles16 don't worry about the dodgy pole dancing. It's better than anything I could manage, and besides,we all had a good laugh.... :D

nargle I don't know what happened to you,but I dozed off in the sauna to the sounds of raucous laughter, and woke up this morning looking like a prune.
Seven litres of water later, and I'm feeling a tad refreshed....but still look like a prune.
Igor has just come in to say that brunch is being served along with a very interesting cocktail called Hair of the Dog.Please save me a couple. :D
Igor is also ready now to have his sexy knees judged. It's taken him until now to shave them and get them looking buff. So,about twelve hours prep. He's getting better at it. :rotfl::rotfl:

Hubert,I'm not sure that scotmum will be happy that you're using her hummus as a face pack....
