Her abs scared me Apple!!!
Right, tonight's rather lengthy list has all been accomplished.
I really had to force myself to do a couple of things on the list, but they're done and I'm happy to have ticked it all off.
I've made a short lift for tomorrow night already, but will add to it as I go...
Last job on the list was to do an online grocery order - completed and coming in at around £30, with 2 coupons added, saving £2.70.
I also received my tax credits letter today with the new amounts on it, relating to the updated (estimated) income figures I gave them. It says these are provisional amounts until my actual income is known after the end of the tax year. I need to do my business tax return this week to find out what I actually earned last year too, it's on this week's list
The amount they've estimated is more than I expected to be honest, so I shall hopefully be able to use some of that to throw towards the debt.
oh - it says it will be paid into my bank account on the 27th - today - but no sign of it yet, so hopefully it will show up tomorrow!

You're whizzing through the list and putting me to shame!
Mine is a weekly one and even that will be a stretch
But good work.. feels rewarding I'm sureGreat news on the tax credit letter and whatnot.. mine came too.. maybe we are a step nearer to understanding the mystical ways of the tax credit gods..it should settle down now give or take. Mine stated 27th too and did arrive actually last Friday..lol. Hope it is there tomorrow!

Sending you special Tuesday hugs today xxNST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
I wish I had her abs and her shoulders Apple, in fact, I'd quite like her body please! :rotfl:
Thanks for the hugs, all gratefully received at the moment :A x
So, yet another night of really crappy sleep has left me feeling less than human this morning. I'm not entirely sure how I drove to work this morning.I'm at that 'getting my sentences mixed up and being incredibly clumsy' stage of tired. I seem to drop off ok, I just wake up all night.
The tax credits have yet to be paid into my account today, so I shall be chasing those today. Nothing ever seems easy with those guys.
I've sold another bundle of items locally for £10. Collecting the £50 for the other piece of furniture today and hopefully should hear from the lady who wanted the ex's old sofa this morning, if not, I shall be contacting the next person in line who wanted it.
I've just seen that tesco have taken over £36 out of my account when the estimated total for my online shop was £30 - that's heck of a difference! I shall be looking at that tonight when it turns up and questioning why it is so much more expensive.
Have a good Tuesday all
xx
*EDIT: I just re-read the tax credits letter, it's due to hit my account on Wednesday 29th, so that saves me a phone call!Mortgage @ 03/2019: £125,000, Now: £50,378.61

And another little sale for £5 this morning. One of DS's much loved, but sadly now too small, ride on trucks he's had since his first birthday.
Will treat him at the weekend with the fiver though.

I *might* venture back into the world of YNAB tonight, as I don't have much else to do.:o:eek:
One thing that I don't understand about it though, is if I only put down what is in my account today, yet I add all the bills that need paying for the rest of the month until next payday, there won't be the money in there to cover them... this is slightly panic-inducing is it not??
I know I will have extra money coming in to pay for it, but as it's not in my account, I shouldn't add it to my budget - right?
Patiently waits for the lovely Lilty to come along with her fan-tabulous explanations...

Well, I didn't get YNABing after all tonight and now feel too tired to tackle it, so will be on tomorrow or Thursday's list for sure.
The lady came to view the sofa - and is going to let me know... I have a few other people interested if she doesn't take it.
I have just finished giving a lesson on Quidco & how to purchase life insurance with the ex. He's pretty clueless at these things, so I walked him through both. He applied for 'single' life insurance tonight and should get £80 CB via Quidco, so that's a good start for him. I now have a single policy too and once his is in force, I'll go ahead and cancel the joint one we have, saving £12.55 a month.
The list has been ticked off again tonight (apart from YNAB which never actually made it on there), so I'm feeling pretty good about that. I've stuck to my diet - just - and have started to compile a list for tomorrow. Another short one, but the tasks are lengthy, so only a couple of things on there but should fill my evening.
Hopefully the tax credits will hit my bank account tomorrow too...
Sleep well all

Fab PPI news Levi! Glad it's on its way to you, hopefully it'll arrive sooner than the 25th.
I posted my PPI thingy on Friday, so it'll be a while until I get a decision. Will keep you updated though. Will all be going off the debt if I do receive anything, so it would be really handy.
I need to work out this month's budget tomorrow too to see how much of the tax credits I can throw at the debt as an extra payment, hopefully all of it, but we'll see. This is why I really need to get YNAB sorted...
Hope I sleep too... am starting to scare people at work with my crazy walking into walls and doors and general absurd conversations!
