  • Hi Levi!!

Keep at it and don't let anyone get you down! You have some of your biggest supporters here. :)

It's Friday tomorrow. Are you planning on anything nice with LL for the weekend? If it is nice weather I plan on taking myself out walking. I haven't done much in my walking lately.

Hope you get the rest you need.

    Hi Levi

I understand that at times it can all seem just too much, working hard for what seems like little reward, running around after LL and juggling all the ball's trying not to drop one :o

I agree with what others have posted however it might help if you think back to what life was like not so long ago; unable to sleep night after night, worrying all the time about money and basically struggling to function.

You have made huge changes for the better, I have noticed you posting about bills but saying it's alright because it's budgeted for, would you have felt this way 2 months ago? I think not.

Sometimes we just need to be a little kinder to ourselves, forgive our past, hold our head up high and think positive, you never know what is around the corner.

You are clearly thought highly of at work so please don't leave that at the door when you come home :)

I hope that you feel a little brighter tomorrow, take care.

    Hey you,

Sorry, I wasn't around last night.

I know exactly how you feel hun, because I'm in that boat with you at the moment. I'm constantly tired, I'm short tempered - even with Ds :(, I don't feel like I'll ever be 'happy' again and I'm on the edge of tears pretty much constantly, feeling sick and tired of the constant struggle. I also don't feel happy within my own skin at the moment and am so aware I need some exercise.

However, one big cheesy grin, or giggle from my little boy spurs me on and makes me realise HE is the reason I am doing all this and HE, like your LL is very much worth every tear, every sleepness night and every little bit of the worry.

He also will not be happy unless you are, something I have realised recently for myself, so for the both of you, take yourself out of your normal routine this weekend and do something completely different if you are able to. Maybe a picnic in a park if the weather's nice, baking a HUGE cake with LL or hand and feet painting on a big roll of wallpaper on the floor. Anything that will get the two of you laughing and giggling together, it doesn't have to cost money.

You are highly regarded and well-loved on this forum as you are in work and life by LL, your friends, family and colleagues it seems, and you have helped many people feel so much better about themselves, me included, so just remember you have a huge cheerleading team behind you that you will struggle to get rid of, like it or not! :rotfl:

Don't make me come up there and kick your &ss now... :):D:cool:

And if it makes you feel better, yes you can be in the middle. :grouphug:

    This time.

I'm sure Lilty won't mind either. :rotfl:

:rotfl: - I am being pimped out!! No MeandO, just this once I don't mind. Although for future reference I prefer being in the middle. I get cold ya know. :rotfl:

Levi you have had a few knocks this week. Things that you won't even have noticed have affected your mood, besides the SR parade. Big ponce; I hope he trips over his tie. Just you be glad it isn't you. That is a harassment case waiting to happen.

ECG - Was a bit of an anti-climax. All that adrenaline and worry for such a small thing. Hardly seems like they can have done anything meaningful at all hmm, so you doubt the results and continue to worry. Hope the results come in with some news that makes you feel better...
Mothers Day - I know it is worrying you. It will get easier. As far as LL is concerned, Sunday is just another day. It was school/TV and you that have probably put it into his mind. Don't worry and try and do something out of the norm. Bake with him. Plant a memory somehow. Small things flower in small peoples minds. If Jellytot tells me one more time she's 'going to Canterbree' when she wanders around the house with her shopping bag... :rotfl: - we went a few weeks ago.
SR - said it all up there. Big twonk.
Routine - I don't mean LL. I mean you. You're getting into a rhythm with this. You're paying bits off. The disasters and catastrophes have slowed to a trickle. It is boring because it is normal and nothing is happening in the foreseeable future to change it for good or bad. Routine is good hun. You can work with routine. You can set yourself challenges when you know what is coming. Best that overpayment.. by a £ here and there. Knock the grocery budget down slightly. Find somewhere new and free to take LL. Pick up a few surveys or a mystery shopping trip. MIX IT UP. And be happy that you are the one making the waves instead of some nasty creditor.
Work - As above. It is routine and normal. Mix it up a bit. Change your lunch. Move your workspace around a bit. Put your imprint on something and be glad that it is a guaranteed income just when you need it.

I know it is boring and it can seem like such a grind with no light at the end of the tunnel. How much better is that than the alternative flight of panic, lack of sleep and general chaos hmm? That you are bored with it shows how far you have come already.

    So just think about that.

You are doing great in trying circumstances. And you are a fab parent. (you too Me&O)

Chin up, deep breath, suck in that tummy and strut your stuff. xx

  • Sorry I haven't been around for a couple of days, but I couldn't have put it any better than MeandO and Lilty. I think they have covered all bases!

Things are already easier for you now than they were, and I promise they will continue to be so. You have the spongebob film to look forward to this weekend, maybe you can all get outside for a bit too? Lots of love to the 3 of you Xx
