I didn't know either - thanks Edwink, you oracle you :j ... whats all this about my shopping list by the way? Was I meant to be doing something (else) that I've forgotten about?Let me know! Have eaten our way through about 5 packs of jelly in the past few weeks so I can assure you LL is not being *too* deprived.
Thanks for the stalkerage HarrysMum, forgive my tardiness on your thread sometimes too, time is sometimes so hard to find, as I'm sure you can imagine! I try to keep up as best I can with everyones shenanigans but feel terribly lax a lot of the time as there is so much more I'd love to read and contribute, time allowing. Hope Dude is doing well:cool: LL is good thanks-he is looking forward to arrival of a baby cousin last part of this month or early next...he kept telling people at school (and the teachers) that he is getting a baby brother or sister which prompted them to bring me in and ask me about it :eek:very baffled they were too knowing that they know I'm a single parent - they must think I get around :rotfl: I explained that he's getting a new cousin and that was what he means (he doesn't understand the titles really but he's heard about other kids getting brothers and sisters so much have just put 2+2 together and got 5) - all was clear in the end.
Thanks you others:) :heart2: Will try and write more later but if not tomorrow after I'm back from the GP. Have just been given a last minute mammoth sized task via email for tomorrow (work at home day) so that is a bit  how dare they try and get in the way of Loose Women??

Thanks Betty- always got your wise words at the front of my mind thanks to the sig, don't you worry about that
:heart2:
Stuffed myself with a huge dinner (it was basically my dinner PLUS LL's dinner - he only wanted the vegetables -, followed by coconut cake that LL brought home from school and then a galaxy caramel egg ( oh yeah - oops, it was a St Patricks day 'lunch & learn' at his school and I was meant to send him in green clothes today ... poor LL ended up making-do with a small piece of green ribbon pinned on to his top by the teacher.. someone has a rather forgetful daddy (or they must think i was trying to make a political statement!)
But on the plus side I think they took pity on the poor neglected child and he came home with 4 slices of coconut cake from their 'shin dig'
Tried to make a head-start on some work tonight - spent about 25 minutes looking through a 2 boxes of EXTENSIVE paperwork I have on the particular case - about 11 folders packed full of documents- only to find that the ONLY two A4 pages that could be of any use to me, aren't there among it anywhere
This also means I can't do much on it tomorrow unless someone can email me them over (have asked) but I'm not going in especially, it will just mean I have to work double-speed/pressure on Thurs instead.. gah:wall:
LL has been asleep since 7:15pm - (he is still not making even 1 night per week in his own room, bribery maxed out, nothing works :undecided) and it's all as quiet as a mouse..a bit of (non work ) reading now and bed..
PS- Edwink, this is for you! Getting 39 pieces of 4-5 year boys clothes which includes a coat, as a bundle thanks to eBay and have been having a good old look on Freecycle, there was a tank of tropical fish going near me and I almost had myself convinced that I MUST have them :T:rotfl:- on a mission to be debt-free by the end of 2017 -

Hi Levi
Glad you managed to get LL so nice clothes on e*ay. Well done you!! Plus having a look on Freecycle too!! Sometime the trouble with Freecycle is that people see things that they think they want, collect them and a few months later decide that they really did not want it after all and then re advertise it. So well done for being sensible. Tropical fish need more electric than cold water fish so well done for resisting!!
Talking of electric have you looked at any way you can reduce your bill as that would make a saving for you. Things like energy saving bulbs are a really good start!! Just a thought!!
Night night and don't work too hard tomorrow.
By the way I am not surprised that LL thought he was having a brother or sister with all those Loose Woman in your flat while he is at school!! :rotfl:
