Thank you ladies, yes I'm used to having £200 for food and fun Forest Blue Bells, the only time i go over is taxi fare for hospital visits. I have to be disciplined as i am trying to pay off mortgage and have started saving for retirement. It is a bit pitiful how much i save but I will get there eventually. lol.

It is rather busy at work, the deadline has been passed and overcome however i am now writing lessons like crazy so am panicking when i see how many posts i have to catch up on. I will try to catch up. I hope you are all well. It is sooo cold. Handyman is coming today to do lots of jobs that should have been done over lockdowns before my parents come later this week. It is vvv frosty here. I saw Martin Lewis and decided not to sign up for the new tariff deal from British Gas.

  • Gas and electric is scary at the moment isn’t it SW. Hope your handyman gets all your jobs done at a reasonable price. Great that your parents are coming to visit 🤗

    Quick summary of my diary

  • I read it as your dreadline had passed, which was probably quite apt!

Hope the handyman gets everything done, offer him tea / coffee as it's appreciated by trades.

    Quick rundown on my diary:
My plans, ethics and way I work are liked.
CC cleared and I'm paying down the car.
Savings are going up, I'm adding to pension.
    Eating nice food.
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.
  • That’s incredible. £200 food and fun, I’m very impressed, shows me I definitely can rein in the spend there. To be fair I don’t do any “fun” 😂 I only go to canicross which just costs me petrol, paddleboarding in spring/summer, again just petrol. I don’t go out really or go anywhere as i don’t have any local friends. I did get a coffee with my canicross club after today though.

Bless you ladies, MF thank you. I needed a summary as i am panicking at the amount of catching up i have to do with your diaries. Handyman did all jobs (it cost £35) which means mum and dad wont have to as they end up working whenever they visit. My parents are only coming later this week if their boiler is sorted as it is playing up.

Forest i try to stick to this but do go over when i go daft and buy on fleabay.

Today i spent £7.80 on snowdrops & £1 on resources for work but i think that is allowed as i have worked all weekend i only finished at 8pm. I will buy a weekly bus ticket tomorrow.
