I'm hoping I will be allowed back soon and am keeping my fingers crossed. After work today I re-potted my petunias, lavender and the verbascum's and watered in the grass seeds. I wish everything grows quickly so when my parents finally visit the garden looks better than now. I have £45 left to my name and 6 days till payday.Aiming for a minimal spend 20223

Make sure you give them plenty of water or this heat will kill them. It’s a shame the sun doesn’t seem to kill the weeds though 😆

I bet your plants look lovely and smell divine. If you are having a heatwave prepare to pop out twice a day to water them.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1

Good idea, I went to look at the greenhouse it is fine. The garden isn't looking colourful just really green as i murdered my original petunias!!!! Work was busy and now I have just mowed the grass. It was 29 degrees today. I have had to put the fan on. 5 days till payday. Everyone is having plant sales online and I really want to buy some but cant afford to. Still it gives me something to save for next year.Aiming for a minimal spend 20223

Next year you could grow your own flowers and save a fortune. I dont go with bedding plants but have some beautiful geraniums that I grew from seed and they last outside all year quite happily. Sounds like you have kept busy, hope the heat isnt getting to you too much xClearing the junk to travel light

Hello my lovely it is 30 degrees today I am not very confident in growing seeds. I don't think anything I have planted has ever grown. I am good with plug plants though. I watered the garden tonight and can see that the grass is growing back from all the feed and weed i have put out. I drenched the greenhouse tonight and am hoping I will have some decent flowers to make some features in my garden. 4 days till payday so excited. I hate being poor. I just want to buy plants but cant.

Today I reckon will be quiet at work so I am planning to empty out all of my store cupboard/room and reconfigure it as it is looking messy. It should take most of the day. I do have a tiny bit of gardening to do too.Aiming for a minimal spend 20222

Im not back yet I think HR have to authorise it. I'm hoping I can start as soon as my admin duties will start. It is cooler this morning. I have taken half the stuff out of the store cupboard and i am going to be so ruthless. It is so hot. I had to rescue two baby birds from my greenhouse luckily I saw them fly in as it is boiling in there, I have shut the door as another older bird went in too being nosey.Aiming for a minimal spend 20222

Perhaps you could put a bit of netting over the greenhouse door so that birds can’t get in but you can still leave the door open ?It’s cooler here today. No rain or thunderstorms so far !0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗
