  • I am glad your parents are with you SW to look after you. Get well soon x

Don't worry, I also go over food & fun budget sometimes. I usually have a bit of a buffer left in my budget. You have done so well and have extra from selling and second job so you are allowed extra fun !! And it's only £10 over, and you have a great payrise too :T

Thank you so much. I have done two lots of washing and line drying and 4 items of ironing. Dad took me to pick up £2 silicon oven gloves from online seller. It will mean I can wash the gloves after use and put them in a drawer. Declutter heaven.

I have discovered lots of things under the kitchen sink that I don't think I need. I will sort this next weekend or week as part of Mission Declutter.

  • You're doing really well on the decluttering, savingwannabe; my decluttering is going very slowly :)

I've never heard of silicon oven gloves - I'm going off to have a google now.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Bless you, Bin, Gosh did it rain last night????! Crumbs I hardly slept.

Today I did my marking and wrote a report. Then I ironed 4 items of clothing. It is my parents 51st wedding anniversary tomorrow. I am giving them a card and cash as they say they don't need anything. lol.

My parents have just left. All they would accept for their anniversary was a card and a plant. I have the day off today and I have just started decluttering under the sink. Im doing half of it today and the other half maybe at the weekend.

The boys are visiting later today. We are going out for a meal to celebrate Andy's Birthday which is coming up.

I feel so lucky my parents are like yours Skinty amazing. We are so lucky to have had such great examples. Ps I got my tummy bug again. I appear to be allergic to any kind of beans! so we couldn't go out with Steve and Andy. Instead I treated them to a takeaway KFC for Andy's birthday. How cheap is that?????

I tried to give my parents some money as well as plant and card last night but they wouldn't take any money. So in total I have spent £30 in last two days on pressies, meals etc. It is ok as I had this spare from my ebay sales.

I am going to try to make do with as little as possible and try to only spend £150 on food and fun which is £50 more than last month.

After payday, I have saved an extra £250 towards mortgage overpayment now my salary has increased and I am trying to have No Spend Months. I am enjoying it to be honest. I am still waiting for summer job to pay me for September work so hopefully that will come next month.

After tidying one shelf under the sink my blood sugar fell to a vvv low level so I ended up resting for the rest of the day as I was a bit wiped out. It was so nice to see the boys though and as usual they looked after me when I should be looking after them. They are going on hols tomorrow after Steve's hospital appointment and it will be great for them to relax,

Sorry to hear you are unwell again, that's not ideal - stay away from the beans!

Glad to hear you had a lovely time with your parents.
