Skinty I am so poor, I have about a fiver left to spend till payday. When I went last week to help out I spent all my spare money. The boys are v kindly paying my train fare as I am helping Andy's mum with her packing. I am so happy. I love the New Forest.
I have one whole day spare today to get things done after numerous cups of tea I think.
Things to do:- [STRIKE]water greenhouse[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]check house insurance[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]pack bags for New Forest[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]gather research for Salisbury[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]send in photos of yesterday's tour[/STRIKE]
- mow grass - will do when weather calms down next week

I have quotes for insurance for basic contents and house from £119.For more comprehensive cover the prices go up from £150 to £188.
However I would like to have some cover in case something dreadful happens to the roof like a flood or storm or there is a flood. I think that the level I would like is called home emergency cover but I don't really know the difference between home emergency and accidental damage cover. Does anyone?
I will wait till I come back by then I will have been paid.
(Things to do when i get back if there is an offer on fleabay:
Sell diary
Sell crystal glass set
Sort Christmas decs for carboot
Write schemes of work)
Pay day for me on Wednesday. I cannot wait. I have £50 to my name after bills including credit card have been paid. I will be using some of it tomorrow. Roll on payday.
I'm going to visit the boys after blood test tomorrow everyone have a good week.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -

Hey SW hope the weather is better in the new forest !
I think accidental damage contents is cover in case you drop a vase or mirror or tip water over your TV or spill paint on your carpet or buildings if you drill through your electrics or put your foot through the ceiling
But I think home emergency is when they send round an emergency plumber or electrician within a few hours for things covered on your insurance like a leak or electrics blow. You should be able to get more info from the policy documents which you can usually view online. I have accidental damage but not home emergency.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Hello my friends, thank you so much I don't think I want either of those as I pay for home emergency with British Gas anyway so hopefully my insurance will be low rather than high. I will sort it before the 25th when it is due. Dolly good luck with your selling.
I spent 3days helping Andy's mum move into her house but am glad to have helped her. Yesterday was spent going out with Steve window shopping in the New Forest. I did buy a top in charity shop and snacks for us to eat.
After my savings and the usual over payment on mortgage and credit card bill this month I will have a most respectable £300 for food and fun in AugustI have one trip to Kew Gardens with the boys .
Summer job has a new boss who is useless and she hasn't booked me for this weekend so I will tidy and do house things and prep for work. To be honest I have had lots of fun so it will be nice to have some time at home.
I have some listing to do too -a mulberry diary and also a crystal set of glasses etc. I will do this tomorrow.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
Hurrah for the weekend and hurrah that I am home again. Things to do:
Vacuum
Mop- [STRIKE]List diary[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]List crystal set[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Unwanted perfume[/STRIKE]
- List boots?
- [STRIKE]List posh purse[/STRIKE]
I think it is a reaction to all the boxes at Andy's mum's house I keep wanting to declutter I am looking for things to get rid of..... :rotfl:
Shall I sell my boots they just sit in the cupboard but may be useful if we are ever flooded? They are so cute but I haven't worn them for a loooong time. Decisions decisions.....
To do:
[STRIKE]mopping
vacuuming[/STRIKE]Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
With regard to ebay someone has bid on the perfume already all but one thing has several watchers, we shall see.... It will be nice for the clutter to go. I haven't put my boots on yet I tried them on and thought how lovely they were so I may keep them.
Jobs to do today:
[STRIKE]Make bed in spare room
Dust whole house[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Mow grass[/STRIKE]
Ironing?
I love the summer I can do all this stuff that I have been meaning to do for ages. I have just seen a job advertised in a local Costa. I am going to apply as I think it will be better than my current summer job. Fingers crossed.[STRIKE][/STRIKE]Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
Well I have had 10 enquiries re my crystal. One lady is interested so I am marking it as pending and she will come on Wednesday hopefully.
It rained during my hospital appointment which went well. I ended up spending £40! (£10 on travel, £10 on plants from market, £10 on essential bits from poundshop, £10 on food for freezer) holy cow! I am going to stay in and be poor for the rest of the week.
From now on I am going to be really strict not put excessive spending on my card. I am only allowed to spend £200 on food and fun anything more is silly. Skinty does it, so why can't I be more disciplined? I always spend extra on nonsense.
This month the excess money will go towards my insurance.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
