I had a medical appointment today the taxi cost £23. My eyes have hurt so I can't do any proper work.
So I mowed the grass and decluttered my wardrobe - I'm trying to be a minimalist. However i don't know any minimalists that have this much clothing. lol. Tomorrow I will try to do some ironing and marking.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
Today I can see again and after a huge lie in I completed the decluttering of my wardrobe and also did lots of marking.
It rained so I didn't bother to sit in the garden which is looking rather glorious. It is full of purple hyacinths, bluebells, muscari and I am waiting for the tulips to come up.
Tomorrow I am hoping to mark and iron 15 blouses outside.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
Your garden sounds lovely SW. I love this time of year I have bluebells and muscari too. Medical appointment sounds horrible, did you have the drops in ? I hate those, make your eyes really sore and blurry vision0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Hello Skinty yes I had the drops but they have changed the formula and I have had bad reactions to them in the last few visits. I am ok now thank goodness.
I hope you had a good day I did. Let's hope the weather is better tomorrow.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
I had my OutfoxtheMarket £100 refund but they debited me £148 by mistake. My bank is sorting it. lol.
I marked and have finished almost half of my work! As a reward I bought 5 bargain lipsticks (Clinique) at an amazing price of £25. So now I have spent my refund money.Only another few days left till I go on holiday. I would like to finish as much of it as possible this week - If it is warmer I will iron outside too. It was a bit nippy today.
One of my neighbours is giving me some free flowers. yay. I will try them and see.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
I haven't done anything with the free flowers yet. I am not sure I want them. I might try a few. I would like the foxgloves but not the rest.
The weather was glorious today and although it was only supposed to be 12 degrees C it felt much warmer. I did all my ironing outside. My sugars are stabilising a bit and I was so tired I couldn't do any marking today.
Ps. My credit card bill is £200 for next month no more extra spending I hope.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
I met up with some friends in town today and we celebrated a birthday. Total spend £11 on me on some nice smelly soaps from TK Maxx and also bus fare (and £40 on her for her present and meal which I will get from the xmas fund).Aiming for a minimal spend 20220

Bless you Kittikins I did. Lipsticks came today perfect. I was supposed to go away this week but my tummy is distinctly dodgy.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220

Glad you can see again, SW, that sounds horrible! Is it a recurrent issue?
I know exactly what you mean about quite enjoying being a cheapskateI've started getting quite annoyed with myself whenever I have to go and buy lunch at work because I've not had time to make something at home and that's money that I could have stashed away in my savings!
I really need to do a wardrobe declutter too - ours is falling apart and I'm trying to work out what size replacement we need (I'd like to get rid of our drawers too and just have one large wardrobe between us, with built in drawers) but with the amount of clothes we have, much of which we barely wear and (in my case at least) no longer fit into, I don't even know where to start trying to work out how much space we ACTUALLY need! :rotfl:MFW2023 challenge #99: £1090.11 / £1,000 MFiT-T6 (Jan 2022 - Jan 2025) challenge #99: Reduce mortgage to £400,000.
