  • I bought 4 adults 52% off odeon tickets via Mightydeals. Theses were advertised as 100% secure.

But having redeemed them, MightyDeals will not issue the voucher code, and Odeon will not accept the redemption code, as this is not the voucher code !!! I was told by staff at the Odeon in Manchester, the Printworks that their manager said that this deal is non valid. We were told that we could not get the tickets through Mightydeal - although we have paid £20 for them.

(The staff though at the Odeon were very good and let us see a film for free !!)
  • This is how the deal was advertised

    100%Risk Free
    14 days money back guarantee
    How does it work?
    · 1. BUY YOUR DEAL
Choose from our huge range of deals
    · 2. RECEIVE YOUR VOUCHER
Your voucher will be emailed to you within 24 hours and can also be found in your Mighty Deals account
    · 3. REDEEM YOUR DEAL
Simply follow the instructions on the voucher
    · 4. ENJOY!
    It’s as easy as that!
  • I too am still waiting after 36 hours!
crap service so wont be using Mighty deals again.
  • The good news is that I paid with a new scheme with PayPal called pay after delivery (PAD). If I don't get the vouchers from Odeon then the money doesn't debit my bank account. I hope the others here have that to fall back on...
  • I bought 3 of these bad boy vouchers 3 days ago and like everyone I got an email telling me I'd get my "voucher" in 24 hours. The next day I got the emails telling me I had been sent a code which I now needed to redeem to activate!! All of which I did and still I haven't been able to view any "E-code" or voucher. The code that begins with an M isn't recognised on Odeon.co.uk or at the box office. HOWEVER!!! I was very fortunate. When I went to my local Odeon (Epsom) 2 fantastic members of staff spent half an hour helping me- they read through all the T's & C's on my phone & the voucher info on my account on the Mighty Deals site (also on my phone) & agreed that even though they'd NEVER HEARD OF MIGHTY DEALS and had NO CLUE how to get there system to accept this null & void "code" they agreed to accept them and booked me seats and gave me handwritten tickets!!! AMAZING!!!! Hope others get theirs sorted like I did. ;)
  • I bought 2 of these £5 vouchers & have had a problem. I've just e-mailed Mighty Deals. The MSE info says they have agreed to respond to any customer feedback e-mails within 48 hours, but their first response to my e-mail says they will get back to me within 3 days.

Here's what I e-mailed to them - has anyone else had the same problem?

    Odeon Vouchers

I bought 2 vouchers yesterday & received 2 'Your Mighty Deals Voucher' e-mails today. I redeemed them both & got 'Voucher Successfully Redeemed' e-mails and the vouchers are listed on the 'My Account' page, BUT when I click the green 'View Voucher' button & then the 'Open Voucher' button - I am taken back to the 'Last step redeem your voucher' screen.

How do I get to print out the vouchers I have bought?

Please let me know quickly, as I would buy more of these if the process works.

    Thank you

I've had the same problem. I purchased the tickets on Wednesday and I'm still waiting for Odeon tickets to be emailed. I intended to use the tickets this afternoon .... 4 days after purchase... but they still have not materialised. I have emailed Mighty Deals as you did but I doubt I will get a response today. Why do they not have a contact telephone number. Why is their process so complicated and time consuming. This offer should be removed from the Martin Lewis website. I only took advantage of the offer because I thought it could be trusted through a reputable website......very wrong. Not worth the trouble and grief. I will be asking for a refund through Paypal and paying full price at the Odeon later.

  • I got a generic reply from them thus morning, which I was surprised about. Saying they have had a few delays in issuing the tickets due to the volume received, etc..... And would get the tickets to me soon as.

No good to me now so I've asked again for a refund.
  • Hi there kelandmatt08

Please ensure that you read the T's and C's before purchase - every deal's voucher code is sent after 24 hours, and Odeon ask for up to 24 hours to send theirs.

    This is stated in 3 locations and I have written below for your reference;

You will receive your Mighty Deals voucher code to your email account 24 hours after purchase. This will also be in your online Mighty Deals account in case you don't have access to your email account or it goes to your junk folder.

You then use this code (which begins with the letter M) to get your Odeon Cinema Ticket code. We provide a link. This is called redemption.

Within 24 hours of redemption, you will be sent your Odeon code direct to your email account, which you can book your seat online or take to the cinema to use.

    Many thanks

    MD

I visited the Odeon at the Filmworks in Manchester yesterday and produced my redeemed voucher. The sales assistant serving me could not find any reference to a Mighty Deals code and sought assistance from his colleague. His colleague told me that "Mighty Deals have setup this deal without the permission of Odeon, we cannot accept the code. It's a scam." I advised whether there was therefore any advice and he suggested I get my money back from Mighty Deals.

I would rather have the £5 cinema tickets, of which I've purchased 10! So I'm just messaging to validate the veracity or otherwise of the sales assistant's claims. Do they have the right to refuse entry or do Mighty Deals and Odeon have an agreement?

The tickets seems to come from https://www.littlecitybreaks.com if you read the conditions on the 1st email you got, so presumably it's them who have the deal with Odeon and MD have the deal with them, so we are all 3 steps removed from Odeon. Odeon seem to be being very fair to people to be honest as they really don't need to be doing anything. All we can do is wait meantime. I think tickets are valid for 6 months from receipt which suits me fine but appreciate won't suit those looking for use this weekend or last week school hols.
