I thought the requirement was for salary or pension, not transfers between other accounts HSBC or otherwise. But I may be wrong.0

Having received the paperwork earlier today, the requirement is "You must pay at least £1750 into your Account each month other than by internal transfer from another personal HSBC Account."0 -

Just a heads up re the £1750 that needs to be paid into your account each month, HSBC will be adding an alternative eligibility requirement.
In the email I received from HSBC last week - The summary for HSBC Advance Bank Account says (effective from 18 June 2015):We've added an alternative eligibility requirement. So instead of paying at least £1,750 into your account each month you can alternatively pay a minimum of £10,500 into your account every 6 months. Internal transfers from any other sole or joint personal accounts you hold with HSBC Bank won't count towards these amounts. HSBC Advance Bank Account applications are subject to status and internal checks.Never let the perfume of the premium overpower the odour of the risk0 -
Hi everyone
Before I open a HSBC Loyalty ISA, am I right in thinking that its easy access i.e. can deposit and withdraw funds freely within the year with no penalty?0 -
What do the T&Cs say?0
-
Yes the account is an easy access one. From the HSBC Loyalty Cash ISA brochure:
Paying in
After you open your ISA you can add to your savings, up to the annual limit, by:-
transferring money from another of your accounts with us, via telephone, visiting your branch or internet banking;
-
setting up a regular standing order from your current account;
-
paying in cash or cheques at any HSBC Bank branch.
Getting access to your money-
You can get at your money whenever you like, without any charges and without losing your loyalty rate. You can also transfer to another of your accounts with us via telephone, internet banking or visiting your local branch. You can withdraw cash at any HSBC Bank branch (you will need to have some personal identification).
