I have filled my 2014/2015 ISA allowance already, is there a way to start this offer or I have to wait for the 6th of April?
Tried to transfer £25 into my ISA but HSBC doesn't let me0 -

I could obviously transfer First Direct to one of my other current accounts to HSBC Advance but would rather not have the hassle if it's not necessary...
Yes you can, and no it wouldn't0 -
£120 + 1.5% for depositing £300.
Seems like a cracking deal0 -
Seems too good to be true. I'm going to try and open an Advance account in the next week, I hope it's not as difficult as another poster hinted it was.0

I'm still waiting for my debit card & pin from HSBC three weeks after being accepted, phoned CS who said they'd send out a security code, nothing 5 days later.
Even Yorkshire bank were more efficient than this.0 -
I had no debit card from HSBC ever for three years after I first opened an account with them. I did initially ask them a couple of times to send me a debit card but eventually did give up as all I was interested in was their regular savings account and that didn't need a debit card.
When I upgraded to HSBC Advance (to get better interest on the regular savings account), I was sent a debit card almost instantly.
Goodness only knows what makes HSBC tick. I suppose you could register a complaint if they keep not sending a debit card to you (assuming a card it important).0 -
