Today I lost my mum and my best friend

My mum passed away suddenly at 2:40pm today I got to her bedside with 20 mins to spare but I don't even know if she knew I was there
She was only 51 and the most amazing person I had ever know
I feel totally numb and like it's all a dream she was doing fine yesterday but deteriorated in a matter of hours
51?!!! Wow, that is young. I am so sorry Faith. I guess you are quite young (early 30s or younger?) A very young age to lose a parent. I am only in my late 30s, and could not even begin to imagine what it would be like to lose one of my parents.
I didn't see your other thread, so don't know what was up with her. Had she been ill then?
I am very sorry. You must be devastated. Is your dad still alive?
My thoughts are with you. I don't know what to say.

Oh Faith, I am so sorry to hear about your Mum.
I remember you posting not too long back about how her cancer had returned, but I'm speechless at how fast things have happened.
Obviously no one knows exactly how anyone else is feeling, but I've got a pretty good idea what you must be going through right now as sadly I lost my beloved, amazing Dad (also to cancer) on the 29th December.
I haven't posted on here since before Christmas, (as I'm struggling to come to terms with things at the moment) but just had to post to pass on my condolences and to say take care of yourself and that I am so sorry to hear your news. 0 -

I lost both of my parents by the time I was 21, it is one of the hardest things to go through, especially as I lost mine within 18 months of each other.Raven. :grinheart:grinheart:grinheart0 -

Oh I am so sorry to hear that, that is incredibly sad.
Not sure what to say, but take each day as it comes, and leave yourself lots of time to grieve, it does get better. I remembering being in a daze for some time after, it took me a long time to come to terms with, but at end of the day, you are still here and your mum would want you to live life to the full, she will always be watching over you.Raven. :grinheart:grinheart:grinheart0 -
I've never lost a parent but i know i would be devestated if i did.
I'm so sorry for your loss, you're the same age as me and thats way too young to lose a parent especially when you lost your dad so young too.
