My mum passed away suddenly at 2:40pm today I got to her bedside with 20 mins to spare but I don't even know if she knew I was there
She was only 51 and the most amazing person I had ever know
I feel totally numb and like it's all a dream she was doing fine yesterday but deteriorated in a matter of hours

Really sorry to hear this, hope you are coping ok. I read your other thread and your mum sounds like she was an amazing woman...she will continue to be loved and remembered xWe got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic.

Dear Faith, I am so sorry for your loss.
Believe me, she knew you were there, she waited for you.
Be kind to yourself now, and take each day as it comes. There will be really bad days, and then some that are not quite so bad. I am not going to quote "it will get better in time", that is a long way off.
Sending you much love and gentle hugs

I am so sorry to hear this.
Even if mum did not know you were there, at least you knew she had no pain. Please take some comfort from that.
She will have just slipped gently away.
I have not lost a child but I do know that losing my mum 30 odd years ago was the worst thing that
has ever happened to me in my life.
Hugs to you and yoursmake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

So sorry for you loss Faith.
It does feel very surreal when someone goes so quick, I remember it all too well when my mum died, felt like some horrible dream and I was on autopilot for a while after.
It does get better though in time, and the fact you was with her when she passed will hopefully bring you some comfort, she waited for you to be there with her. XRaven. :grinheart:grinheart:grinheart0 -
Oh so sorry to read this. It must be a terrible shock. Thinking of you."'Cause it's a bittersweet symphony, this life

Deepest condolences.
Been there myself and for a while you won't be able to pick yourself up off the floor.
I wish you the best in this terrible time.0 -
