Spoke to Mum on the phone, she is definitely depressed, I am trying to get her to go to the GP, she is refusing to see any friends, neighbours or family outside of my sister and I. This cannot go on.

Afraid I have done nothing today apart from go to group therapy in the morning and then an emergency vet dash, with Scruffy the dog, in the afternoon... Think I shall finish watching 10,000 BC then toddle off up to bed. Tomorrow I shall make a start on the flying... :D

Piggers please go to the Dr's..you need to be checked out and given antibiotics or something to help you through this. You aren't going to get over it on your own...

That's very hard for all of you. The after-effects of a general anaesthetic can last for ages, likewise morphine which can be a dreadful thing if you happen to react badly to it. Mr N admitted that at one stage on morphine he was "ready to go". He's totally different now.

    Morning All

Well I abandoned the LR yesterday so I need to get back to it today. By the time I'd picked the kids up and dropped them off at my M&D's, been for a swim (first time in months and I did 12 lengths so I was pleased with that - I'm so unfit at the moment), been to Sainsbugs for a few bits, filled up with petrol, put air in my tyres, come home and put the shopping away it was time to pick the kids up again and I got in after 8pm. As DH was lying in bed watching tv I joined him so today I need to do some more in there. I will strip the bed in a minute though when I get out of it.

Piggers - hope you're feeling better this morning.
Iona - hope you can see better and your eye isn't as sore.
Froddy - enjoy meeting your Great Aunt.
Dusty - hope your mum feels better soon.

    I've probably forgotten loads!

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

Hugs, get well soon and recovery vibes to all who need them.
Dusty not sure what your mums go is like, when fil was ill I rang gp and told them how things were and go went round to see them, I was kept. In the loop. Management must ha ve changed this time as I've been asked by reception to get mil to write a letter saying I've got permission to be involved in her care and have the right to ring and discuss her with the docs. Would you get any joy raining them and saying you ae concerned about your mum? Sending hugs to you I know how hard this is for you.
Got one of DS2s friends sleeping over so they had a gaming session last night I presune they will now sleep till hunger stirs them.
Need to go and do DS1s pack up and get him off to work.
Watched looking for Eric last night, it was ok but not a keeper so that has gone on the to be passed on pile. Started knitting a baby hat while film was on.

  • Morning - been up ages sorting the recently decluttered stuff into our old suitcases for storage. Need to decide if I am joining D sis at cbs in March - we have loads of big things to clear and a cash shortage!
Last night I sorted the wardrobes and drawers in DS room. So I am definitely on a roll! Must move things about this morning and do HHI.
Then may do the kitchen cupboards in the hunt for more surplus stuff. You are all encouraging me to not sit on my btm - but like JulieJim I am very good at that ! LOL!

Hugs sticks and spoons and GWS vibes to those needing them.

Dusty - hugs - hope Mum's GP can help.

Thanks for your continued support. Mum's GP practice is one which came out badly in the reports a few months ago. I know she has had issues with them too but I guess it may be worth a try. Problem is she had a huge argument with them when she was diagnosed and in her words 'ripped him to shreds' so I'm not overly keen on getting involved, she would have been very rude and mean. I'll speak to my sister later but I know I've upset her by not going in since Friday.

Boys have dentist today and they have just phoned to move the appointment from 10 to 1 which is splits the day a bit. Still it means no excuse not to get flying done before we go so I'll make a cuppa and do my 20 minutes decluttering to start.
