    I guess, yeah.

In your view do you think I should ask to reconsider?

Not quite knowing your situation, it's difficult to comment. As well as the actual epilepsy, you also need to consider the side effects of it. I had epilepsy as a child and as a result of this, my memory is rather fuzzy. This can mean, for example, that I don't remember certain words, etc.

And if it goes t*ts up for the OP you know who they will blame?

It's not your call and it certainly isn't for you to try to persuade the OP either.

The facts are out, it is the OP's call only.
  • Really do appreciate all your help so far people's.

One more question, just going through the letters from the decision (which was made on the 10th April)

I noticed this one note from the decisions making reasoning within everything which suddenly stuck me..

Personal Independence Payment Regulations state I cannot award Personal Independence Payment from an earlier date or change your DLA entitlement. DLA must be paid for 4 weeks after a personal independence payment decision is made

The last DLA payment I received was 4 days after that letter. I was previously awarded DLA from 06/12 to 06/15.. therefore using both of those informations what exactly do you think that means? Will I receive DLA for another month before I get PIP?

    Thanks in advance!

    Yes.
This regulation is extremely unfair in some cases, especially for the terminally ill - for who it also applies.
Withdrawing a claim for DLA, and making a fresh claim for PIP is in principle the right thing to do if you are terminally ill (and not already getting HRM/HRC).
Though of course not likely to be high on your list of priorities.
